On the course!
Hosts of these pre-season tournies, don't get beat!

I'm not talking about the "Top Of The World Classic" in Edludesville, next week, but rather solid teams, that host shit competition.

Tonight we have Wisconsin facing Eastern Washington. Who the fuhk is EW?

Well, the oddsmakers have to toss a big number up there, so they went with -13'

These games are like homecoming week in football. Wisconsin is not going to look like a second rate team tonight. They will rip these guys to pieces, and hand them their check. The only chance that EW has, is a low scoring game, which Bucky is famous for. Still........They should win by 20, as a primer for tomorrow's big match-up with the winner of the Winthrop/No Ill game!

These 'tournies' are a joke.

On the horizon:

11/22/2002

Hispanic College Fund Classic Baton Rouge, LA

LSU plays Nicholls State???? and the winner of the South Alabama/Southern game.

Hey, I can't speak Spanish, but I'll put a few pesos on LSU!

Sooner Invitational Norman OK

OK vs that powerhose Cal Irvine, and the winner of Western Mich/Princeton

Hawaiian Airlines Tip-Off Tourney

Enjoy the weekend, and thanks for playing! here's your check.

Hawaii vs Ark LR, and Texas A&M (Corpus Christi:eek: )/Fullerton State

Mark you callendar, boys!

Unless, of course, you count the Maui Invitational and Great Alaska Shootout where Chaminade and Alaska-Anchorage routinely get the crap beat out of them several times every year. Of course, those big "made for TV" tournaments are different from those little 4-teamer home cooking shams you're talking about, I suppose.

P.S. Are you going to post this pick on bestbettor or not?

I did post this on BB, but I only post there as a slight to our dilusional chum from there, edludes.

My serious picks are always on the forums here at Jack's. Now I will play this one for a mere single unit, just to back up my theory, but I really don't watch the NCAA hoops program too closely.

I will have insight on these Badgers all season, though, so stay tuned!

you might want to take a closer look at e wash, they're not bad and should challenge for their conference title. 13- is a lot of points for a low scoring team like wisky to lay in their season opener. i may give e wash a run.

I was actually just kidding about bestbettor after reading some of the posts back and forth between you and that guy. I don't think I've ever even looked there before. Good luck.

taking eastern +13.5

taking eastern +13.5

predicted to win conf ... most everyone back, many solid kids ... one of my ex stars left the school cuz he couldnt get PT, and he was POY his sr. year in one poll in wash ...

both teams claw on D, EW is deep ... they played Mich st when they were power and Izzon said many ++ things about their effort; EW does play some good schools, wont be intimadted... alvin snow Def POY and Marc Axton ROY for EW in conf. last year ... just cuz they are in cheney doesnt mean they are total crap ...

yyz ur right, who would bet on them? in this situtation, i figure that gives you an extra bucket and maybe EW loses by 11 ...

gl to all,
gregg
