I've never placed much stock in the "look ahead factor", but after seeing Duke and Maryland each cover against much weaker competition at home with big lines, I'm pretty much removing the "look ahead" from my handicapping completely.
If those aren't look-ahead scenarios, then nothing is. Both had considerably weaker teams at home a few days prior to their matchup.
Anyway, everything else pales in comparison to Terps-Devils this weekend. I suppose we're looking at Duke -1.5 or so. I'd probably take UM SU if I could get +110 or more on the money line.
Any other thoughts on what the line might be? Anyone think Duke won't be favored.
