the loss of a father

i know i'm not everyone's favorite poster, but i need to get this out somehwere

my father passed away unexpectedly at the age of 66 from a heart attack early saturday morning. we really had no indication and it came as a shock to all of us. i never expected to lose my father at the age of 30.

i would appreciate prayers. especially for saint's mom, who was with my dad since the age of 16...50 years.

i'll miss you dad you were a great father, husband and my best friend

very sorry to hear this. Recently 3 months ago went through this with my Dad. He was 63, was married to my mom 45 years. I feel your pain. Very difficult, especially for your mom. Be there for her.

I know what you're going through. My father passed when i was 29. He was only 52 . I was a walking zombie for months. I called upon God to help get me threw it, and he answered. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Remember that you father still lives in you. Share his spirit for as long as you live.

My condolences Saint. Losing a parent always knocks the wind out of you because they've been there for you your entire life.

Saint...so sorry to hear the sad news.I have said this here so many times when we lose one of our parents.Having just lost my mom a few months ago....." a father and a mother are there to set examples for their children..they are strong and positive role models.....and being a role model is the most powerful form of education.
I'm sure your father had great inner strength and was strong in his moral principals,values and ideals...and he instilled them to you..you know your sucess today had a lot to do because of your father....prayers and thoughts are with you and your mom..
