Throw out the pundits and microanalyses.

The Republicans lost because 23,000,000 Americans who love to gamble: cops, truck drivers,small businessmen, firefighters, AND ME were deprived of the right to gamble their own money online by a bill that was slid in without debate by Bill F***head Frist.

conservatives finally having enough of their elected "republican" senators and congremen and either staying away from voting or voting for democrats who ran on conservative platforms.

plenty of close races to call it a democratic mandate, especially since those that won either won by slim margins or as i said earlier ran on conservative platforms.

bush sold the conservative base out years ago and the rest in congress followed suit.....they are the first to pay for it.

im guessing the republicans wont learn a damn thing and will nominate mccain who's even less conservative than bush to be on the ticket in 08.
