The good news---my pick this week has current form, course form, and a great desire to win. The bad news is---he has never won before. I had Kim earlier and he had never won either, but now he has won one. The price on my guy went down today.

Ryan Moore to win 81.00 SIA

One match-up in honor of my aching back! For 72 holes.

I stuck my neck out on Choi last week and I'm gonna stick with him - this is one of his favourite courses on tour, and he won last year by staying out of the rough - despite missing the cut last week his driving stats were pretty good.

I'm also reminded of Hawaii when Choi bombed at the Mercedes (4th last) and then went on to win the Sony Open the next week. ?20 e/w at 40/1 Corals.

Small saver on Sergio @ 18/1 whose straight driving will also ease him past Ogilvy for a match up 5/6

Outrights:

Stewart Cink(20/1) e.w.
- - I know why, but I don't know why I bother.

Briny Baird(80/1) e.w.

- - Like Wentworth, this has not been a profitable event for me over the years; with this pick over the likes of Quinney, Ogilvy and Mickelson, it's easy to see how that is.

Charles Howell III(100/1) e.w.
- - Even if tracking beautifully for SoCal, unlikely to pop early here.

Chris DiMarco(200/1) e.w.
- - Based on a snippet.

Jack's place is foremost a second (approach) shot course.

Round 1 plays (2pts):

Ernie Els to beat Luke Donald -120 @ Bet365
They have played in seven events together on the PGA Tour over the last year and Donald has yet to finish ahead of Els. With former winner Big Easy also citing this as one of his favourite tournaments of the year, we should see a continuation of the form that yielded a 6th place finish in the Players Championship three weeks ago

Ryuji Imada to beat Mike Weir -120 @ Bet365
Weir has averaged 74 around this course over the last three years and is worth opposing, particularly with a player coming off a win two weeks ago - his fourth top-5 finish of the year

D.J. Trahan to beat Mathew Goggin -105 @ Five Dimes
Last week was the first time in seven common events that Goggin had shot a lower 1st round score than Trahan. Playing at Muirfield Village for the first time and with Trahan playing well on his debut last year, this should be a return to 1st round dominance for Trahan

Round 2 play (2pts):

Sergio Garcia to beat Ernie Els -133 @ Bet365
It had been a good round of golf for Sergio until the last hole when he found water by the 18th green and tried unsuccessfully, the first time, to play out of it. He still ranked 3rd in greens in regulation and that is a lot better than Els who continued to struggle with his game

Round Two on Friday Afternoon

Round Two on Friday Afternoon

Round Two for 18 holes:

2 Units:

Boo Weekley over Paul Casey @ - 125. L

Boo Weekley over Zach Johnson @ - 105. W

Boo Weekley over Johnson Wagner @ - 165. L

Luke Donald over Daniel Chopra @ - 185. L

1 Unit:

Hunter Mahan over Ryuji Imada @ + 115. L

Chad Campbell over Kenny Perry @ + 150. L

Luke Donald over Kenny Perry @ + 105. Push

Banking on a Boo recovery after a tough first day for three plays for two units each, one big favorite for two units and trying three underdogs for one unit each.

I certainly blew this call as Boo is having an even worse day than yesterday. :scared

Round 3 play (2pts):

Pat Perez to beat J.B. Holmes -110 @ Bet365
Big difference in their tee-to-green play so far this week with Perez ranking 3rd in GIR and Holmes 68th and with Perez also being a good Saturday player - he averages less than 70 in the 3rd round over the last 12 months - he shouldn't be the underdog in this match

Accventures,
Where do you get these odds from? I assume "ties lose" with odds like these
Would love to know which book these come from.
