I'm gone a couple months and I still see most of the ugly mugs I saw when I left. However, there seems to be a ton of newcomers. I remember years ago when there were like 15 posters and every other post was by Marine. Now there must be 1000's. You're boomin' Jack.
My favorite line of the year was by Nolan. I don't remember it verbatim but it was something to the effect of "I will go out on a limb and predict that if Bledsoe goes down the Pats won't win another game."
Happens to the best of us. Nolan is a class guy. His poker teachings are legendary. Just stay away from the teasers
Apparently I caught the tail end of all the hoopla with Hoops et al trying to make a few bucks. It's a shame that all imploaded. I still don't get what all the shite was about. Hell, I was more than happy to lay down 50 bones to get Hoops' input. But whatever, don't want to open Pandora's Box once more. Let me know if you're still around Hoops, I can't find your email anywhere and my computer died in the move.
Anyway, I'm now settled here in Scottsdale, back with my old golfing coach and gonna make another run at some tour or another. Word is they are starting a local tour here in the summer - the Gateway tour. I don't know if you win a cow or a computer or what. But what the hell. Scottsdale/Phoenix in the summer...you haven't played off cement, uh, a hard fairway until you've played out here in the summer. Maybe Stanley can find some odds on it and bet against me. I won't even have to lie down, I'll just play my normal game and still line his pockets! But I'm always around for free on-line golf lessons, drop me a line. I enjoyed doing that last year.
