2001 NFL Record: 0-0
-------------------------------------------

1)Tampa Bay(-9)
We have complete opposite ends of the spectrum here. The Bucs are among the NFL elite while the Cowboys could very well be the worst team in the NFL. I rarely lay points on the road, but only the Dallas "name" has kept this spread from being about 13 pts which is where is should be. Bucs roll 26-3.

2)Kansas City(+3.5,-120)
I bought the extra half pt for a little protection. KC has always been one of the toughest, if not THE toughest place to wander into when favoured on the road. The names change but this Stadium simply holds ghosts. KC wins 23-20.

3)Carolina(+11)
Yes, the Vikings will score their points, but Minnesota did very little to shore up a weak defence and it will show right off the bat this year. Yes, Weinke is a rookie, but remember he is NOT a wide eyed 22 year old rookie............this guy has been around for a long time and won't be intimidated. Look for a shootout decided late in the 4th quarter.......37-33.

4)Carolina/Minnesota(over 45)
See above.

5)New York Jets(+3,-120)
Again, I bought the extra half point here. Colts are hard to figure out on the road where the triplets aren't nearly as effective as they are in their home dome, and this Jet team looks to me to be very solid. I'll gladly take a field goal and home field advantage in this opening divisional game.

6)Indy/Jets(under 7.5, +115, 1st quarter)
Look for both teams to start conservatively, like a heavyweight title fight.

7)San Diego(-2)
Why the hell are the 1-15 Chargers favoured here? Because all Doug Flutie knows how to do is WIN!

8)Buffalo/New Orleans(under 19,-110, 1st half)
Again, a couple of teams that I think will come out of the gate cautiously running the ball and trying NOT to lose, rather than opening it up right away.

The Plays Again:
1)Tampa Bay(-9.5)
2)Kansas City(+3.5,-120)
3)Carolina(+11)
4)Car/Minn(over 45)
5)Jets(+3, -120)
6)Jets/Colts(under 7.5,+115,1stQ)
7)San Diego(-2)
8)Buffalo/Saints(under 19,1st half)

Good luck out there today,
Tiger

Tiger you are right on about the colts. maybe a slow start to the game, there defense will be terrible and with da jets trying out a new offense the under 1st quarter does look good but i think this game will go over the total as the colts can and will light up the scoreboard like a pinball machine today.

gl to you.
