It was the late 80's, whenever he played the Silverdome? A customer of mine David Handleman was a big shot in the record business he invited me and my wife and son to the concert along with his girlfriend Constantina. We went backstage and did the meet and greet thing along with only a few others. Michael was there to meet us along with his handlers. We shook hands, he did have gloves on, he was a germaphobe as I remember. We had pictures taken but never got them. It was a memorable night for sure. This was when Sherl Crow was one of his back up singers. An evening I'll never forget.

i would tell people bout Sheryl crow but not Michael jackson.keep that one to your self lol. id never admit that I met a boy toucher especially since your name is the boys lol. Sheryl is amazing for her age.

Wow, a name from the past. My mom worked for the Handleman Co back in the late 60's and early 70's out of Toledo Ohio. Handleman was in Detroit and my Mom had the area all around Northwest Ohio and some Indiana and southern Michigan. She had all the Kmarts and walgreens stores like that, that carried records and all kinds of other sundry products. She kept all the racks stocked with all the products Handleman carried. I got a lot free records (vinyl) back in the day. Brings back memories.:toast:

David was a cool guy. He shopped at my stores for years back in the 70's and early 80's. He'd always come in with his girlfriend at the time Constantina. He's living on some island near Miami now. My only contact with him is through Facebook. Thanks for chiming in.
