Between Green Bay and Iowa City
Outrights:

K.J. Choi(50/1) e.w.

From my 2006 notes:

"Only four players have won more than once on the Stadium Course.

Tiger Woods credits the diversity to "the nature of the design."

"How Pete (Dye) designed it with the cutoff bunkers and the mounding that it just brings all of us together,? said Woods, who hasn?t earned a top-10 at The Players since his 2001 triumph.

?We're all hitting the balls to the same spots. A lot of times for the longer hitters, it's 3-wood or 2-iron or some kind of utility club off the tees where the shorter guys are hitting drivers, so we're all in the same spot. With that in mind, it becomes a second shot course and see who can hit their irons the best and put themselves in positions where they can make putts.?"

Steve Stricker withdrew on Monday morning from THE PLAYERS Championship.
The withdrawal is not a big surprise after Stricker has missed the last two weeks on the Tour due to a nagging clavicle injury. He has been replaced in the field by Spencer Levin.

There goes my one big bet of the week :sadwave:

Man im really debating taking mickelson and furyk over woods.. I promised myself never to bet against him, but from all reports, he and his game are a complete mess.

Ok big bet on Molinari -130 over Bohn

Just think he is a better golfer. He came over here for a purpose, and that was for WGR points, and also to help his position on the Ryder Cup.

Just saw Poulters tweet, he seemed surprisingly confident coming off an injury and layoff

I had read that freddy was going home after charlotte.. too many weeks in a row

@TROYMERRITT_PGA

Freddy Couples withdrew, so I guess I'll have to play some golf this week. You don't have to twist my arm to play in the Player's Champ!!!

Ok last bet of the week at the Players (unless an injury pops up)
313spcn.jpg

I am already nervous for doing this but..
$230.00 $200.00 Pending 5/6/10 8:15am PGA Golf 101 Phil Mickelson (Tourn) -115* vs Tiger Woods (Tourn)

Basically Tigers mental state is in shambles. Go to asapsports.com and read that transcript :scared Where is the guy who was pissed when he finished in 4th at a major after taking 6+ months off? From all accounts he was spraying it all over the course during Mondays practice round, he did have some good shots.. but he did that at Augusta as well.
I took phil over furyk because i think with the greens and fairways being in poor shape, the short game will favor Phil. Plus i think he wants to become #1 for the first time. Good luck to us.
