Once the dust clears and only the strong books survive with a few scum books trying to separate you and your money the "Real problem" as I see it is not the transferring of funds to and from outlets. Once you have requested a payout by check and you have it in your hands then what? Trying to deposit it or cash it is a totally different story as Bank managers are becoming more aware of funds [ checks] drawn on out of state banks and originating from a foreign country. 30 day holds will not be uncommon and make me feel very uncomfortable. It will get worse before it gets better.

Again I say...

Again I say...

It's not the book. It's the depositing or cashing of the check. If you have a business it would be much easier of course but for regular accounts try it ; I'm sure you would find things different.

Checks from offshore books are drawn on accounts that do not bear the books name. No one will have a problem depositing a check from an offshore book. Due to money laundering concerns, virtually every country that liscenses sportsbooks requires that they use a third party for all financial transactions between their customers.

Very good point about depositing funds from a different country. I received my payout from Pinnacle Sports, but it was a check from the Bank of Montreal. I got a notice in the mail from BB&T bank stating that they were witholding $100 dollars of the $1100 until they could certify that the check would clear. Now, whether I get this money back or not is another question. It wouldn't be surprising to see BB&T keep this $100 bucks because they're one of the shittiest banks in the country. The teller actually asked me if this was some sort of internet scam/fraud. She then asked me if I had been expecting this check or was it some sort of gift/surprise. She informed me that it would be roughly a two week turnaround for the funds to be actually deposited into my account. Initially, I was going to go to the bank and try to cash it. Good thing I didn't mention that because I'm sure they would have laughed in my face. The online sportsbook industry is going through some MAJOR changes and until things lighten up in regards to rules and regulations, I'm going to be sitting on the sidelines. I wish I had the option of using someone local, but I live in a small backasswards rural community and the net is really the only option available. SUCKS!

It continues

It continues

Books off shore are starting to feel the heat as it is getting harder and harder to find a banking establishment that will process the check sent to customers. Book----Bank-----you---your bank. This may have over simplified the process. If you are an average Joe this is what happens when you ask for a check to be sent to you via FedEx. There are always exceptions. Hopefully it will clear up sooner rather than later.
