Brett Favre has answered all the know-it-alls, and with the Packers' big win in Minnesota, his team is thinking NFL playoffs. The 37-year-old is not only among the NFL's elite quarterbacks with 13 touchdown passes, he's also done something gunslingers aren't supposed to - limit mistakes. Favre's seven interceptions put him on pace for a career-low 12, his current best is 13. Whatever the final number, it promises to be a far cry from last year's disastrous 29.

NFL Oddsmakers are correct to point out Green Bay hasn't beaten a contender in 2006, but opening the Pack as six-point dogs to struggling New England is a little much, especially at Lambeau.

New England Patriots -6 (-115)

vs Green Bay Packers +6 (-105)

Granted, the Patriots will certainly be motivated come Sunday. They've lost two in a row and all of a sudden find themselves in a race with the Jets for the AFC East title. But what has motivation done for them lately? Zip. Zilch.

Look for Favre to have another big game and take advantage of a New England secondary that will once again be minus safety Rodney Harrison.
