After my worst Saturday since my wedding day, The Seahag says College Football to me is like the wunderlich test to African American Quaterbacks. It makes us look stupid. That's alright I didn't get it either. So now she's got jokes?

Anyway my record is an embarrassing 11-17-2
minus 26 units on straight plays.

Parlays 0-1 minus 1.5

teasers 3-5 plus .5 units

Time to dig out. I can't remember the last time The Irish won at home vs Southern Cal. At first glance the Stats are pretty rven in this tilt and I'd think the line should be no more than 3.5 or 4. When i start looking into intangibles and emotion and such I begin to realyze the forces at play here. We have Bryan Kelly looking to give the boosters and alumni his first gift. A blow out of one of the two biggest rivals. He disappointed many when he left the door open for that Michigan comeback. Secondly Notre Dame does not play too many primetime games in South Bend.
I've been to South Bend Several times. These kids while smart in the classroom are partiers and rabid football fans and have been waiting for a night like this for a long time. Look for the Irish and Tommy Reese to let the country know their back on the Map. They have a nice matchup edge at reciever imo and he will require a double team.

I will lay the 8.5
5 units

Agreed with you on all points. Add in that USC lost another starting CB and most likely stud WR Marquise Lee is out with a seperated shoulder and I see this being at least a 2 TD win, I really do. It all sets up so well. Kelly wont let up, they will rub it in if they can or are in a position to do so. The number of BIG time recruits attending on Saturday night is another huge thing for this team. The players know it, the coaching staff knows it and for once that stadium will be rocking! GL, glad we are on the same side on this one.

Glad you agree bro. Been liking your work last few weeks.

Thank you for the kind words. I have followed your work here for a few years now!

As I mentioned in my thread 10 of the top 100 ESPN recruits are going to be at the USC/ND game. Never before has this happened all at one game I am told in South Bend. This is a huge statement game for years to come when you look at it that way. Those players could set up the program for some nice runs the next few years. GL

Just looking at the consensus sites, 68% on USC. I really feel we are on the right side in this one. This game reminds me of the Huskers at Wisky game a few Saturday's ago.....Wisky was a 9 pt. fav and routed the Huskers in a big time night game.

I think you hit the nail right on the head! The crowd will be jacked up for this. The old timers that come to these games better wear their ear plugs because it is going to be much different than a normal 2:30 game.

Good Luck Clem

I probably won't play the game, but I lean toward USC +8-. I always love your posts Clem, but if you have been to South Bend several times- we must have been at a different South Bend. I went to the USC game there in 1999. Apparently my expectations were too high, because I thought that stadium was a concrete hell hole. There are zero bars around that stadium besides "Shenanigan's" and a few other cheese dick strip mall places. Anyone tailgaiting has zero beer (I'm pretty sure it is outlawed.) I have a few very good friends that played @ ND and I respect their program, but that town sucks ass and the stadium is a piece of shit .

I always had a blast, but I was also with Irish alum and rooting for them. The stadium is old but classic. We always tailgated in a camper in the camper part of the lot. CErtainly saw and drank plenty of beer.:toast:

The Seahag had a little accident today. It seems her and the "ladies" went out for a three drink lunch. Apparently the pot called the kettle fat. From what the barkeep up town told me the Hag was hookin and jabbin, floppin and heavin just like I taught her. She had three broads and I use that term loosely right where she wanted when her mother broke a bottle on her head to break it up. When I got to the emergency room I thought I was looking at Qadaffi after he met the judge jury and executioner yesterday. No such luck it was my queen and the bitch was anything but dead.

Saturday I'm playing The Bobcats of Ohio because the Seahag looks like she got runover by one..
All kidding aside Ohio has lost the last two by a combined 4 points to Ball st and Buffalo. Looking a little further into the schedule they played a tough one against Rutgers who battered them and really banged them up. That loss looks a hell of a lot better lately. Ohio knows this is a must win game going into the bye before the showdown aagainst Temple. This gamel looks like a wallet fattener to me. Akron was picked in the cellar and Ohio was picked to compete for the mac east title. These two losses have dropped this line from the 21 it should be to 14.

This game should be decided by 24 or more.
Im thinking 38-6 myself.

Pbr 6 unit play

Anyone have any thoughts on the Rainbow warriors tonight? I think they cruise over NMS but Hawaii is one of those teams I always get wrong.

I think they crush em. I will be @ the game. They r ready to be back home for this short stint as they will want to make up for last week 6 To debacle. They will be back on the main land for idaho next week so they want to get it all out now. I'm on over too. Bows might just get there themselves. ;)

Damn Jim I'm on Notre dame. Now I'm :scared

Oh no, after the Tojan/Dame game I was hoping you saw/remembered the "SHEET's" strong play on the Aggiies in the nightcap. Guess not.

For me - that was my bailout special play for the day. It worked this time.. .. but, tellya, Clem, even though I don't qualify on both counts (white and never could throw a spiral) still put my name on that list behind the "Down with Wunderlic Tests" Movement cause I DIDN'T "listen" to MY own SHEET's strong suggestion to FADE the Flookin Irish today. Damn!

Good luck with the NFLers if ya play them.
