These are the top "10" schools that have finished in the highest position numerical team ranking for recruits for seasons 2004-2003-2002. I will have the entire D-1 results for each team sometime in the near future. Perhaps it will help us spot emerging trends. These rankings are from Rivals whom I consider the best. Do you think I have too much time on my hands?

Let me correct you on an error in your post. USC had the #1 recruiting class in 2003. On signing day, USC had the #3 recruiting class (or virtually tied for 1st with LSU and FL) but then a week after signing day USC recieved a verbal from QB John David Booty who was a Junior. Booty was considered the #1 QB in the country that year despite being only a junior. That verbal without a doubt put USC's recruiting class #1.

Scott you could be right as this information update is 2/10/2003 @1:05 and the list was correct as of that time frame. The top 6 teams then were very close and am going on what Rivals had on their web site. Thanks.
