KICK THE UN OUT OF NYC

Below are the actual voting records of various Arabic/Islamic States which are recorded in both the US State Department and United Nations records:

Kuwait votes against the United States 67% of the time.

Qatar votes against the United States 67% of the time.

Morocco votes against the United States 70% of the time.

United Arab Emirates votes against the U. S. 70% of the time.

Jordan votes against the United States 71% of the time.

Tunisia votes against the United States 71% of the time.

Saudi Arabia votes against the United States 73% of the time.

Yemen votes against the United States 74% of the time.

Algeria votes against the United States 74% of the time.

Oman votes against the United States 74% of the time.

Sudan votes against the United States 75% of the time.

Pakistan votes against the United States 75% of the time.

Libya votes against the United States 76% of the time.

Egypt votes against the United States 79% of the time.

Lebanon votes against the United States 80% of the time.

India votes against the United States 81% of the time.

Syria votes against the United States 84% of the time.

Mauritania votes against the United States 87% of the time.

US Foreign Aid to those that hate us:

Egypt, for example, after voting 79% of the time against the United States, still receives $2 billion annually in US Foreign Aid.

Jordan votes 71% against the United States and receives $192,814,000 annually in US Foreign Aid.

Pakistan votes 75% against the United States receives
$6,721,000 annually in US Foreign Aid.

India votes 81% against the United States receives
$143,699,000 annually

Perhaps it is time to get out of the UN and give the
tax savings back to the American workers who are having to skimp and sacrifice to pay the taxes.

Now they want to cut oil production, We should cut aid
to them by 50% to start.

Was looking for this FWD for a while, finally got it. Is quite interesting I think...

WE THE PEOPLES OF THE UNITED NATIONS DETERMINED
-to save succeeding generations from the scourge of war, which twice in our lifetime has brought untold sorrow to mankind, and
-to reaffirm faith in fundamental human rights, in the dignity and worth of the human person, in the equal rights of men and women and of nations large and small, and
-to establish conditions under which justice and respect for the obligations arising from treaties and other sources of international law can be maintained, and
-to promote social progress and better standards of life in larger freedom,

-
This is from the Charter of the UN.
They have done little to achieve these goals in the past 60 yrs. Let's say that none of those above even referred to Iraq. How about the Sudan, featuring ethnic cleansing even as we speak, or Afghanistan pre-Taliban, or North Korea, or Syria? Let's be reasonable here.

Here's the biggest of the jokes about the UN.

Here's the biggest of the jokes about the UN.

On December 10, 1948 the General Assembly of the United Nations adopted and proclaimed the Universal Declaration of Human Rights the full text of which appears in the following pages. Following this historic act the Assembly called upon all Member countries to publicize the text of the Declaration and "to cause it to be disseminated, displayed, read and expounded principally in schools and other educational institutions, without distinction based on the political status of countries or territories."

PREAMBLE
Whereas recognition of the inherent dignity and of the equal and inalienable rights of all members of the human family is the foundation of freedom, justice and peace in the world,

Whereas disregard and contempt for human rights have resulted in barbarous acts which have outraged the conscience of mankind, and the advent of a world in which human beings shall enjoy freedom of speech and belief and freedom from fear and want has been proclaimed as the highest aspiration of the common people,

Whereas it is essential, if man is not to be compelled to have recourse, as a last resort, to rebellion against tyranny and oppression, that human rights should be protected by the rule of law,

Whereas it is essential to promote the development of friendly relations between nations,

Whereas the peoples of the United Nations have in the Charter reaffirmed their faith in fundamental human rights, in the dignity and worth of the human person and in the equal rights of men and women and have determined to promote social progress and better standards of life in larger freedom,

Whereas Member States have pledged themselves to achieve, in co-operation with the United Nations, the promotion of universal respect for and observance of human rights and fundamental freedoms,

Whereas a common understanding of these rights and freedoms is of the greatest importance for the full realization of this pledge,

Now, Therefore THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY proclaims THIS UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS as a common standard of achievement for all peoples and all nations, to the end that every individual and every organ of society, keeping this Declaration constantly in mind, shall strive by teaching and education to promote respect for these rights and freedoms and by progressive measures, national and international, to secure their universal and effective recognition and observance, both among the peoples of Member States themselves and among the peoples of territories under their jurisdiction.

And we're the bad guys. Woodrow Wilson did NOT want to join the League of Nations...perhaps FDR should have done some thinking for himself on this issue...

This is the price of being a civilized, free thinking society....

agree with Fat & Sassy overall....

"Freedom isn't free"........unless you live in some armpit nation or someplace like Kuwait.....keep Iraq from annexing Kuwait, put out all the oilwell fires....send how many of our troops and manpower over there......all we get is the final bill, get to bury our dead....

Some people might say its all for good......I guess when I go to the dentist it's all for good that he fixes the toothache, I still get the bill.....

.....then the bastards get together and sit together to decide how much oil is going to be produced and determine how much money they can make.....

guess the WTO isn't bothered by issues like price fixing or monopolies.....how many companies in the US can get together and legally discuss price fixing?
