i don't really have an opinion on this bill...but i can understand that people who are against it feel that the bill is some kind of socialism...& i heard that there are other alternatives...

i also heard that some congress-people on both sides were complaining that they didn't even get a chance to read the bill yet...that the "leaders" are forcing this bill down people's throat...

I havent been paying too much attention to the details, but do they need Republican votes? They have the majority in both houses and its Bush's proposal so it wont be veto'd. How can they stop it?

Watch this latter today. They will say Mc Cain flunked his first real test. This is why he should have stayed out of it. Some times when you try to take the credit before you know results you open your self up.
