this on the heels of the worst played final four games......OU and Kansas just stunk up the place and Md. tried to blow the biggest lead in history......

What I love is Wilcox feeding the post from the top of the key. if Maryland knew how to play the would be dangerous.

I've been sitting here trying to watch this piece of crap game thinking the same thing. Absolutely horrible basketball. I think our state championship game was played at a much higher level than this. I was thinking of watching Once and Again with my g/f but since it is at least a close game, I'll stay tuned. However, I am really wishing Duke and Kansas would have made it. That would have made for a hell of a game.

This was ugly basketball. I am mad though. I was pulling for the Hoosiers led by Mr. Alabama Alum Mike Davis.
I would not have believed that Indiana would play that sloppy or have that many turnovers in a championship game in a million years. I am not sure what caused it. Perhaps both teams were at such a high level of intensity they were forcing it. That is not fundamental basketball which both teams are known for.

Think Indiana was content into making this an ugly halfcourt game. Almost worked. Certainly took Maryland out of its rhythm for most of the game.
As for Steve Blake, without him Maryland's out of sync on offense a lot of the time. Not uncommon for Gary Williams to take him out when he's ineffective. The guy has a penchant for trying to make that zip pass and do the spectacular.

Yes, it was ugly, but I can take ugly when I hit Maryland, and the under. Makes it not so hard to stomach.
