On the course!
Services, I mean.

Some of these pay services must do a legitimate job, right?

We all say "scamdicapper" everytime a tout comes along, but some have to be for real.

What if Nolan had a 900#?

Everyone thinks he is a top handicapper, and his numbers pan out, so again I ask....."What if he charged $599 for a season?"

Does he now become a 'scamdicapper'? I think the basic problem we have, is that if you pay for a service, you expect winners every call! That is our nature. I pay you....you perform!

I like to think we have some sharp minds roaming the forums here, and I am certain there are guys out there who sell picks on the up and up. Just interested in knowing if any of you are aware of any level places?

I am not searching for a service, mind you, but rather searching for anyone who knows of an honest barker out there?

Thanks!

This is a very good point.

Let's face it, if Nolan was selling his picks for a reasonable price, and we were serious about our sports gambling, we would be crazy not to pay him given his record.

Best not to mention this to Nolan, by the way.

This is how I see it.....

Most services in the long run, like most gamblers out there, will end up losing money playing there picks, so basically, the odds of you buying picks that will make u money is against you.

I have paid services over the net to some of the top scamdicappers on those guru or track picks site(I personally feel those handicapper track sites are fixed) and those bastards loss!!!! How the hell are they ranked in the top 10 and they end up giving me loosers. They probably gave me the opposite sides of what they give there other customers so they end up keeping atleast half of us.

Nolan was right, never, NEVER pay for picks, I talk from experience. I bought picks from 7 of the top pay services(claim to be top services from there records on track picks and online capper rankings) and only one of them came out positive Units, I myself did equal or better than the rest of them and I ain't even an expert for goodness sake!! Some of them offered me another months free after they loss just to stick with them after I told them I am done with them, so I track there picks another month and guess what, they still loss.

Some of them write three paragraphs saying how one team will cover the other, and it looks expertly done so u figure they know what they are talking about and then what.....it loses. I rather have a guy who has a one paragraph write u and wins than a guy who writes 10 paragraphs about a game and then ends up loosing.

So from my experience, 1 out of the 7 top services won. with that type of odds, I rather bet my own picks.

I learned the hard way, cause I had to pay these guys before I loss my money. I hate when them scamdicappers say they will give u another week free if they lose the first week, cause IF THEY LOSE, why the hell would i want another week from them, do they think were that stupid??? Some of them say they will refund what u initially paid them, but still that dont cover all the money u ended up losing putting on there picks.

Bottomline, if these guys win like they say they do, why dont they put there own money on there games, why try to sell it off to us???

Back years ago, when I first started keeping plays from guys instead of turning them in, I remember a dude calling me with a warning. "Better not keep this one, it is a J..F....pick." Being new at holding these gems, I laid it off. The pick got crucified. As years went by and I laid little off, I remember welcoming those plays from the big time services. They didn't hit anymore than me or you.
I will say this, I don't rule out the possibility that a few guys can handicap well enough to deserve compensation for it. Just not those guys you see on the tube.

I think there are some very legit services out there. The biggest problem is all of the scammers per say have so much money to market with. With all the marketing the scammers do it really covers up some of the "Good guys" out there.

Never say: never, all, none, the best, the worst ect cause there is no such thing in handicappers. There are a handful that I would deem very reliable in college long term, very few in pros.

There are plenty of legitimate pay services.
UHC and Sports Monitor are places you can find them.
They're pretty expensive, though.
In general, I think if a guy is with a reputable monitor, then he's legit.
If he ain't, then he's likely a scammer.
There's one exception I know of - Dr. Bob Stoll.
He pulled himself off of Sports monitor last year because he was doing well in college and the consensus services started picking him up.

Been long distance friends with one M L for many years. Very honest. Tells truth. No BS 70%. Of course may have only 8 or 9 bowl picks. If he hits 70% on just them he said so. But if he hits 50% he said so. You do not get season long 70% BS. Tells it much like Nolan does. The truth.
By the way If seen him pick between 52/61% for many years. Just think in more then 35 years. I can tell you 3 that worked and did well. And now we add Nolan to that makes 4.
I tryed many before I said this is BS do your own. Nolan and I believe ML would get along well.
