just curious...i don`t wager regularly on college foots much anymore...but at home, iowa`s defense has been near impenetrable...

hell, even the score at arizona was extremely misleading given how arizona scored the majority of it`s points....

penn st,with a freshman qb on the road and a solid defense....

if you figure that penn st couldn`t score(a fg) at alabama, but held a more powerful offense than iowa to 24,you have to consider the under 40.5....

feel good about the boxing play, but the odds are above my "straight bet" threshhold....

a better return if i par the under,.....but i feel like iowa probably pulls this out at home under the lights....their offense is hampered...they`re down to their 3rd or 4th running back...

opinions?..
i get a better return on a par with the under,....

thinking about 2 pars...

Toss the Iowa ML in your parlay, Wease. I'm staying away from laying the 7. Two tough defenses and some lingering questions on Iowa's special teams play--giving up long returns and no one knows who the kicker is going to be or how effective the one that gets the call might be...
Adam Robinson is the starter and was listed as a starter from the beginning of the year, Wease. The other freshman from last year, Wegher, quit the team before the season started and the stud from the '08 season(jewel hampton) blew out his other knee and is gone for the year.
The two kids behind Robinson are big, bruising runners with some speed and at least one of them will probably get some carries tonight. Iowa may try and throw the ball a bit more tonight to take the pressure off the running game, but that is a guess on my part.
I played the Under 41.5 earlier in the week and I'm staying away from pointspread.
good luck in whatever you do. Now if you will excuse me, I'm going to go fix me a bloody mary--I've got an hour before leaving for Iowa City and a day of tailgating and a night of watching Iowa kick some Nittany Lion A@#...:00hour :toast:
