Thinking of a SUV........

I am thinking of buying a new SUV in the next 3 or 4 months, and am starting to look at them now. So far I really like the following ones; MBZ ML420
GMC Yukon Denali
Land Rover Freelander


Anyone out there got any thoughts on any of these or other SUV's I should be looking at?

Have you considered the Lexus SUV? Reasonably priced and a very comfortable vehicle.

I assume you mean the ML430. If you are looking at a new one, I would recommend them but the early years had some shady build quality issues. Since BMW is behind the Freelander, it should be relatively reliable vehicle. The Freelander has been around Mexico for awhile and seems to hold up well there with their poor quality gas and service. Are you looking more for a mid-size or full-size SUV?

Yukon XL 2000! Best one I've owned, and I've had a few...4-Runner, Expedition, and Explorer. Split bucket middle seats so the inside is similiar to the outline of a minivan. Sits 7 comfortably plus a chitload of luggage. Whatever ya do, stick with the American mades...

Red; Been away for a few days. Want either a mid or full size one. The MBZ is now a 500 this year they don't make a 430 any more. I just found that out this past weekend. Will drive the BMW and the MBZ this comming week. I am going to buy new, from what I have seen I am leaning toward the Benz so far. Also will drive the GMC Yukon to see if I like it. Thanks guys for the comments.
