Hypocrasy strikes again between the NCAA and politicians. NCAA coaches have been speaking out over the past couple years about how they want amateur sports taken off the Vegas boad to prevent point shaving scandals. (I don't get the correlation either). Then I hear this..........

This upcoming season 16 schools have agreed to play a tournament INSIDE THE CASINOS THEMSELVES!!!!! There won't be any wagers on these games!!!

To make it even better, RC Slocum Texas A&M's head football coach has been one of those who has spoke out the most. Lo and behold Texas A&M's basketball team is on the list of teams to perform in the tourney.......

In today's Wash Post or yesterday's. I would love to see how the NCAA tried to spin this where, "it wasn't about the money, but about allowing the student athletes a broad well rounded education." I love it when they use that line, what it really means, we are using our kids to make all the money absolutely possible because we are greedy, hypocritical ********.

I heard about this the last Friday morning while listening to ESPN sports radio about 9:00 AM. I was on the way to work after visiting my Dad in the hospital when lo and behold they interviewed some guy in Las Vegas about this named Eric.

I couldn't help but wonder if it was "our" Eric (Fletcher).

On the course!
I heard that the tourny that was going on out there in the casinos got yanked, due to pressure from some of the schools.

I find it hard to believe that the NCAA will allow it to happen.
