I will go back to last weeks thread momentarily and copy and paste my goal and strategy for baseball but here are the plays for tomorrow.

Last week 4-5 +345
ytd = Same

Detroit (Bonderman) -1.5 (+165)
If you are going to play against the Sox do it in April. Their staff and bullpen is filthy. Garcia looked to me in his last start that either his arm was not nearly ready or it was too ready meaning dead. I love the way Bonderman is coming of age and this tiger team is dangerous.

300

Cards (Mulder) -1.5 (+135)
Home opener.. Mulder coming off the loss. Milwaukee overachieving out of the gates Cards not in stride yet has effected the line here. Mulder would be -215 in this spot minmum. Plenty of value here and I get Pulhos?

300

remember a split equals a great day

Here is that first weeks thread in case you missed what It and am wondering what I do.

Baseball season brings both the best oppurtunity to turn a profit and the easiest way to lose your bankroll by May 1. You have to be selective and avoid eating the big chalk. I like to play some runlines with good pitchers when they are getting some nice juice. If im playing three games in a day be it runline or moneyline I want to be getting an average Of +145 on the three plays. If I can go 50% at that kind of juice over the long haul the profits are nice.

Based on a $100 play
10 and 10 +450
20-20 +900
40-40 +1800
80-80 +3600
160-160 +7200

I need to make 2.5k a month this baseball season to keep doing this for a living. Keep in mind my bills are payed off for approximately another 6 months but this is the goal I have set for myself. To accomplish this Im going to need to play about 40 games in a month at a bout 300 a shot based on my +145 juice example at a 50% clip. In a perfect world that would net me 2700 for the month.

Lets see what we can do.

Hi Clem,

Been following you here for a while. Just had a question for you.

I have heard that the professional gamblers out there generally play favorites. This goes for all sports. I have heard that they play a lot of money lines in football and basketball, not just in baseball.

I don't know this for sure, obviously because I am far from a professional gambler, but this is what I have been told.

I never understood the logic in this, but from what I understand, they pick their spots, and then when they really like something, they pound it. Even if they have to lay -300 or -400, they will still play it.

I guess it makes sense if you are hitting 80% or 90%, but if you drop a few, then you just give the winnings right back.

As for your baseball strategy, I like it. You should be able to get 50%. But as I said, from what I have been told, the pros play mostly favorites.

Just wanted to know if you have heard this before, and if you think it makes any sense.

Thanks, and keep up the good work.

Anyone else is welcome to comment as well.

Betting favs on ML seems like the most conservative play but in fact it is the riskiest. It can be a good money-maker, but only in spots very carefully considered. If you play it frequently, you will be out of money in short order. Anyone who's made more than a few dozen bets can back me up on this!
