Michigan St laying 1. . .
I realize some quality cappers are on Illinois tonight. . . I suspect their rational is that Illinois is due to have a breakout game on the road. Well, that may eventually happen against a team without a solid homecourt advantage, but I just don't see it here. . . especially when the Illini are not playing their best ball as of late.
We also have the best system in college basketball working for us tonight as we are taking the unranked home favorite over a ranked road dog.
Perhaps one final reason to even consider the Illini tonight is the fact that they have had an extra day to prepare for this game as they beat Purdue on Saturday while Michigan State beat Ohio State on Sunday. If it was Michigan State that was traveling for this game, I would consider this a nice advantage for Illinois, but not when it is the Illini that have to travel for this one. Both teams have played several games the past 14 days so I assume that fatigue (if there is any) would be even for both teams tonight.
