All part of the script...all those players involved in that play were just acting.

Just yesterday I was commenting to a friend that if Scott Stevens played in the NHL today he'd last about 1 period and then be banned for life:lol:

He had a ton of legal hits, he was the best body-checker of all time, oh and he ended the careers of about one million hockey players, including Eric Lindros.

Scott Stevens was not a dirty player, almost all his vicious hits were totally legal, it is a different NHL now that is for sure:SIB

oh and ummm for the record.......no matter what era that was, that was a penalty, no question that was interference, now it would be a one hundred game ban, but yes even then it was at the very least interference.

That was one of about 50 concussions for Kariya, surprised he's still alive, his brain must be mush, he was on the receiving end of so many vicious hits to the head.

noup, i think rule was something like "after pass player is "playing" until other guy receives his pass" aka "three second rule"

agree about Stevens was not a dirty player per se. i think it was after one of the Lindroos hit where he was shaken and almost crying himself.
