This weekend movies prop (Nov 22-24)

First one i like:

Die another day +7.5M over HP2 (2 units) OLY
Both movies should be neck to neck by the end of the weekend (around 50M each) so grabbing a +7.5M is good for me!

more match ups with the OVER/UNDER in a few hours!

Emperor's club: OVER 4M -120 (3 units) WSEX

I see over is now +160. I think the general public underestimates the "black dollar", Movies like 8 miles and Barbershop are moneymakers for studios and could be moneymakers for astute movie betters: for example, Barbershop opened around -2 mill over Stealing Harvard and easlily won.

This is the 3rd week for 8 miles and the majority of "fans" have seen it.
No competition from Harry Potter crowd. This is a popular franchise and I imagine it will come down to seeing Hale Berrys hot ass or Ice Cube's hilarious ass as the wildcard to go over the top of 17.5 M or slide under the number.
Wish Chris Tucker was in it.

Ill take the Blunt over the Babe today and see Bond next week.

This is my edit so that you can understand where Im coming from.
When I say "black dollar" , that may not have been the most appropriate term; as most people only think of the urban hip hop crowd. This dollar also includes lower- middle class whites and latins who are attracted to this type of movie and lifestyle. I also dont think people understand this movie's wide appeal to the middle class black audience.
Look at how Eminem has them coming from all backgrounds and made over 19 million in 2nd week.
Maybe this "Friday" will flop but my point is to not underestimate the potential of these movies.

Be careful with "Emperor's Club". It is a limited release this weekend, only 809 screens nationwide.

Durwood, i know the theater counts when i make my bets so it has been taken in consideration! Movies experts are predicting around 5M and i agree. Very good movie reviews form Emperor's club so the "intellectual" class will go watching it....
