SYSTEM: Bet against any team that is playing their 4th straight road game to open the season.

THEORY: The oddsmaker fails to compensate for a teams road weariness and that team may also be peeking to their home opener the next week.

SYSTEM RECORD: 10-5 ATS (67%)

THIS WEEK?S PLAY AGAINST TEAM: SAN JOSE ST. SPARTANS

MARYLAND OVER E. MICHIGAN BY 52
After being scalped by a Seminole last week Ralph Friedgen will get this turtle moving again as he goes against one of the worst teams in Division I football in Eastern Michigan. The Terps have covered all 7 home games under Friedgen while the Eagles have covered but 2 of their last 17 non-conference games and have
allowed 143 points in 3 games so far this year. They were pounded by Michigan St. (56-7) and Toledo (65-13) and another rout by a Maryland squad looking for a confidence builder should follow the same script. No turtle soup on the menu in College Park this week!
MARYLAND - 55 EASTERN MICHIGAN - 3

? UTEP?Hardhats 1-11 ATS last 12 as dog.
? Tulsa?Golden Blowjobs are 0-12 ATSlast 12 on road.
? Air Force?Flyboys 5-0 ATS off a bye week.
? Michigan State?Spartans have won and covered 5X vs. Irish.

SO. MISSISSIPPI?17 ALABAMA ?16
Motivation is all with the Golden Eagles in this one playing with 28-15 revenge from last year while the Crimson Tide could be a little distracted after the NCAA denied their appeal of imposed sanctions this week. So. Miss loves playing their ?big brothers? from the SEC and have covered 15 of 22 games against them
since 1990. The Eagles are also 9-1 ATS in road openers and have now covered an amazing 12 of 13 times as a September underdog (before depth becomes a problem). Points are also magnified here in what should be a low scoring affair. As for picking the outright upset? My momma taught me that winners never cheat and cheaters never win!

SO. CAROLINA?35 TEMPLE?10
The Hooter?s are making their 1st road trip all season after being dismantled at home by disinterested Oregon St. and Miami. Now they get the full attention of a ?Cock that was just licked by Georgia and in need of a confidence booster. The young offense continues to be plagued by the turnover bug, something Coach Holtz will work to alleviate this week. South Carolina is 10-4 ATS as a double digit favorite including 4-1 ATS in that role under Holtz. The Owls meanwhile are perennial slow starters going 6-12 ATS in their 1st 4 games the last 5 years. This one will be over before the nocturnal Hooter ever wakes up.

ARIZONA OVER WISCONSIN BY 7
The Wildcats were impressive in their wipeout of the Utes last week and are rapidly becoming a go with team this year. Arizona QB Johnson is quickly grasping Coach Mackovic?s offensive schemes as he has passed for almost 800 yards in 2 outings thus
far. The Badgers meanwhile continue to do it with mirrors, as they needed four No. Illinois turnovers to escape last week, and Camp Randall has been less than intimidating of late with the Badgers covering but 3 of their last 16 home games. Arizona on the other hand has been a road warrior covering 14 of their last 16 as a non-conference road dog and 9 of their last 10 road games period. Mutual of Omaha taught us to take an offensive Wildcat against a defenseless Badger every time!
ARIZONA?31 WISCONSIN?24

DALLAS - PHILADELPHIA UNDER 36?
Cowboys showed a bit more life on offense Sunday vs. the Titans but still only managed 2 offensive scores. This will be the ?Boys first road game against an Eagles squad that had little trouble shutting down Spurrier?s offense on the road. Can you see Quincy Carter having any success - we can?t. Cowboys have played under in both games this year and we think this will continue to be the trend due to their inept offense and very solid defense. The Eagles have played under the total in 5 of the last 6
games following a Monday night contest while the Cowboys have gone under in 6 straight as a visitor.
EAGLES - 20 COWBOYS - 10

NAVY - SWABBIES HAVE COVERED 12 OF 17 AS HF.
WAKE FOREST - DOG'S COVERED 13 OF LAST 16 DAMON DEACON GAMES.
BYU - MORMONS 2-6 ATS LAST 8 ON ROAD
NEW ENGLAND - PATS COVER 10 OF LAST 11 GAMES.
