I don't get involved with those conferences other than keeping an eye on Kentucky who has treated me well.

Georgia has been on the improve after a poor September but I always look at UK when at home. When they're at home I think that can play with just about everybody in the SEC. They are fun to watch too, lots of points.

I like that play.

Good luck

Strong leans, may pull the trigger by tomorrow:

Indiana + 14
Cie has confirmed and I like this play as well.

Tenn +17
Where is Roll tide 72 when you need him:shrug:

Purdue +23 1/2
Think that purdue has enough offense to keep this within the spread.

Auburn -6
Cie and i will have to agree to disagree on this one.

Maryland +4
KC and his sharps with AR agreement, this play makes a lot of sense if you think about it........

Okla - 4
Mizzou has not played well in big national implicated games and okie has been there before with stoops undefeated against Mizzou? Someone talk me off this game PLEASE

Well you may not like my insight after you read this post. I know you and Jack like the Hoosiers but I just don't see it happening. :SIB

Illinois -14

I will admit I am biased when it comes to the Hoosiers (I graduated with their Offensive Co-ordinator). In my opinion they are just too banged up (especially O-Line) to compete for a full 60 minutes. IU was lucky to beat Arkansas State last weekend for homecoming (36-34). IU has no pass defense and will have to win shootouts for the rest of the season. Ben Chappell is a good QB but if the O-Line can't protect him how effective will he really be? IU has the #1 passing offense in the Big-10 but Illinois has the #3 passing defense. IU is a one dimensional football team and I think that the Illini will be able to stop them easily this weekend. 14 points are a lot to give up. The Hoosiers may keep it close for a half but I think that the Illini wear them down and pull away in the 3rd quarter. I see a 35-14, 38-17 type game.

The OL injuries are a major concern. Aside from this being HC, Ill is due for a letdown after multiple big games. Thanks for input:toast:

Louisville +1.5

I'm assuming you have seen the news that UCONN starting QB Cody Endres has been suspended for the rest of the school year by Coach Randy Edsall.

http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=5707580

Don't know much about the Huskies but I do know enough that they are having a disappointing and down year. I know they were a dark horse to win the Big East but they choked away their game at Rutgers a few weeks ago. Losing your starting QB before a big road game is never good. Louisville is a much better team this season mainly because Kragthorpe is gone and Charlie Strong took his place.

Before this news I would have suggested taking the 1.5 instead of laying the points. I'm sure this one is off the board now or has changed dramatically.

Auburn -6

LSU needed a miracle to beat Tennessee 16-14. The next week it was a last second TD to beat a very bad Florida team in the Swamp. Last week it looked like the Tigers went through the motions in beating McNeese State. Meanwhile Auburn was winning a track meet against Arkansas in Jordan-Hare.

If I've learned one thing is that you never count out the Mad Hatter. I just think that offensively LSU will not be able to put that many points on the board (see Gary Crowton, QB situation) and Auburn (see Cam Newton) will find a way to beat Coach Chavis' defensive schemes.

This very well may be a defensive slug fest but if Auburn gets up by 10 or more you can write this one off.

I think Auburn wins 24-10, 24-13. Don't see Auburn scoring more than 27 but don't see LSU scoring more than 2 TDs.

Alabama +17

First off, I rarely bet my Tide because I'm a homer and I don't like to bet with my heart. But you asked for my opinion so here you go...

This is basically UcheaT's bowl game. They are 2-4 and there is no way they get to 6 wins this year. They may win twice more this season (Memphis and Vandy).

The Viles have played two games against non-BCS teams (UT-Martin and UAB). It took 2 Overtimes to beat the Blazers and also score 32 points (while giving up 29). In their four games against Oregon, Florida, Georgia and LSU they did not score more than 17 points (avg. 14.5 points) and allowed an average of 34 points in those games.

Nick Saban called his team out this week publicly about not being physical and man enough on the field. After a less than spectacular outing at home against Ole Miss I think they come out on fire this week. I hope that our coaching staff remembers that Mark Ingram is still in the backfield and in my opinion is the key to the final games of this season.

Last year was a total shock for sure. But Alabama was in total control until the final 3 minutes. They were driving to run out the clock when Ingram had the only fumble of his career. UcheaT got the ball back, scored a TD then recovered an onside kick. Too close for comfort! I think that they remember last year's game and want to go into their off week with a positive outing.

The injuries are mounting on Rocky Top and Dooley has talked about playing his freshman QB at length during the first half. The only thing that worries me is will Saban let up against Dooley? He definitely called off the dogs when we played Penn State in mid-September (I believe out of respect for Paterno).

Unless Alabama decides to completey shit the bed I think they win this one going away 35-10. Lots of points to lay for sure but if you held a gun to my head that's how I would wager.

Don't know much about the other games but I'll give you my initial first glance reactions.

North Carolina +6 at Miami, Fla.

How UNC is still competitive is beyond me. Nice four game winning streak. Miami looked average against Duke coming off their ass kicking at home vs FSU. I would say lay the points but UNC just seems to hang around and find a way to win.

Oklahoma -4 at Missouri

Will Mizzou finally show up for a big game against OU? Reminds me of Texas/Nebraska. Sometimes a team just has your number. OU is due for a breakout game and as much as I would like for them to stumble at Mizzou I think they win relatively easily.

Georgia at Kentucky +4

So Kentucky is a 4 point favorite at home after beating South Carolina and playing a team that two weeks ago was ready to fire their entire coaching staff? Amazing what winning the Tennessee State Championship (UcheaT and Vandy) will do for your ego. Both of those games were at home but now the Dawgs travel to the Commonwealth. Seems to me they are begging you to take the points. UGA is still a very bad team and I think that the Cats finally play a full 60 minutes and win straight up.

Texas Tech - 3.5 at Colorado

Let's face it. The only reason Dan Hawkins is still the Buff's coach is that they can't afford his massive buyout. Surprised that several alumni have not gotten together and worked out a payment to get rid of this guy. Needing a bowl game to probably save his job, the Buffs started off 3-1 only to lose at Mizzou and at home to Baylor. YIKES!

CU is ranked 102nd in the nation only scoring 19 points a game. Tech may not have much of a scoring defense but CU is just not good.

Tech wins this one easily.

Thanks guys for your imput. I knew I could count on you to keep things in perspective..... With that said.....

Louisville -1 1/2 as I did hear about the UCONN qb and that will have a major impact on the outcome.

Kentucky +4
Joker has done an outstanding job of getting the most production through having solid game plans and may win this SU.

Texas Tech - 3 1/2
Colorado is not a very good team and I expect Tech to win this by 10 or more with there offense.

Maryland +4
Bc is not a team whom should be favored in this game.

Auburn - 6 1/2
I know, homer bet? Gus stated how the offense was embarassed last year and has all cylinders clicking for his playbook. Revenge could be a factor in running up the score if we are up late in the game and the defense is tired.

not playing the other games........ GL and thank you my friends.....:toast:
