I am looking for other players experience with them to see if I am not reacting properly.

I recently took advantage of what they call a 45% sign up bonus and deposited monies. I come to find out that these are traditional monies but a free play account. So with this free play account I made wagers and when I won the amount of the win was applied to my main account but the wager amount of the free play then was gone.

I feel somewhat disillusioned by the way they did not properly explain the bonus as being in this manner. And to further than they told me that it was a bonus not a guaranteed depleting free play account.

If you deposit say $1000 into an account they give you $450 of free play. If you were to wager teh whole $450 at -110 you could only retrieve back the $400 or so winning wager. Your main account would have $1400 and your free play would be zero.

I have not run across this and now feel as if they bait and switched me. I am not going to go in depth on my dealings with their casino where I lost 70 out of 100 hands and 13 in a row.

I have seen the good and the bad but this seems rather odd and want others perspective.

I checked into Infinity's 100% sign up bonus and it appears as though it's the same as you described for BetUS. The bonus is put into a freeplay account and any winnings off of this account are applied to your regular account. I didn't ask but I assume that just like you described, the bet amount disappeared from your freeplay account regardless if you won the bet or not. On top of that, you have to roll over not only the winnings from your bonus but also from your initial deposit 7 times. Haven't decided whether to deposit there or not.

Ballsweat........BETUS.com , or NASA, is one of the shiftier books out there, have been for a number of years. They deal two lines and the payouts are sometimes very slow. Their ads and pop ups contain alot of double talk. Up until this past month, payouts for instance by check of any range cost $55 AND UP. To have it shipped by(faux) next day Fedex cost Fort Knox proportions. I say faux because it usually arrives by a smaller unknown courrier and not the next day. New this past month, their pop up advertises one free payout per month, but you really have to dig to find out that it is limited to $500.
The bonus system you mention is par for the industry. This year atBETUS they are letting some accounts use the bonus in smaller increments, but I have a bud who they are making use it all in ONE wager only, a longstanding practice of theirs which they won't make you aware of. No parlays, no ML either and they cut the bet if the dog is too big.
Their phone operators are the fastest talking shiftiest that I have come across. You are lucky to have scored the 45%..........usually they try to find a reason to not give it.

Now, you may ask "Hitman, why are you with them, then?" Good question and I will attempt to answer. Simply put,I keep winning $ with them as vs. let's say Pinnacle who is much sharper. I have a much harder time keeping money in good ol Pinnacle. BETUS is basically a square book and their clients bet alot of faves. Therefor, especially during foots, you can get a good price on dogs, many times even off of 3, 7 10 etc. In addition, as I mentioned, they sometimes profile and deal double lines. Now, this in itself is not offensive to me, they give me a line & I either like it and play it or or I don't. So, I have a bud who they somehow profiled differently than me, so we "share" so to speak. Sometimes he uses my lines, sometimes I use his. I have a handful of outs, so I don't rely on them for a large % of my action.

So, keep an open eye. Two initial telltale clues that I can think of offhand are that when you sign up, they ask you who your favorite team is. Duh !! Secondly, go to their rules section, the last I looked, they are 7to8 legal pages long, all favoring them.
Hope I have been of some help.

I did specify in my post the bonus was a match play bonus if you should go back and look. "Infinity Sports is offering 100% match play bonus on all new accounts starting with $300 to $1000 until September 5th 2005." Clients who and in for the season see this as a very good bonus, however client can always ask for a cash bonus, which to Madjack members will be 25% CASH BONUS until September 12, 2005 with the normal 3 times rollover. Match play or free play bonuses are being used by almost every sportsbook if you don't understand the term, please contact us and we will be more than happy to clarify it for you. On that note all members that don't have an account as yet keep in mind today is the final day for the 100% match play bonus and existing members that want to take advantage of it, drop me a line and your case will be considered.

This is just another reason that the overwhelming majority wanted low juice instead of bonuses in that thread Jack started the other day.

In all honesty I would rather forget any and all bonuses when the requirements are rollovers, match plays or they hold your money hostage for 30 days. Sometimes you just want to deposit money, make a play and get your money. Should it really be more difficult than that?

Thanks for all the responses. Was just curious and probably not use them again. Have had great experiences with Oly and Betroyal so I will stay there. May try another book for a 3rd out.
