Thoughts on ND and Nova

I haven't played it but if I were going to it would be ND -3 because of the fact Villanova is already dancing. This is a road game and they have nothing to prove...

If you're looking for an angle, consider that this is the 3rd game in five days for Villanova.

That's an absolutely killer stretch for a college team. Especially when you throw in the fact that the first and last of the stretch is on the road. That's a lot to ask of college kids.

I know I've watched Clemson struggle mightily in the scenario in the past, looking absolutely legless in the third game on the road. I believe they had a similar turnaround last year (3 games in 6 days), and had WON their first two before losing to an NIT-bound FSU team in Tallahassee last year.

Quietly, ND has really come to play lately. It wouldn't shock me, given the turnaround and Nova's recent road woes, to see them get blown out of the gym tonight.

I'd like to point out that if there is a 'public' side its ND not Nova.

I dont think it matters in this game as its not lopsided but everything I have points me to the majority taking ND. FWIW.


Also, dont put stock in these 'must-win' type games, its fools gold.

I think this is actually under 50% ATS this year. Used to kill off it.

Its the most one sided game tonight of the six. Qualifies on three levels which is pretty much tops. Everyone and their brother is on the Citadel.

That being said, I wouldnt bet on Ga Southern if you gave me 10. Strictly a go-against or pass as that team is in bad shape.

I took that into consideration and only played it as a 2 unit. With 92% on The Citadel, I wouldn't bet the house...

why not give them a bone when majority of action is going Nova/ND
Citadel line is reacting with 2 point swing,

Nova looked soooo bad Saturday, as I watched that whole thing. Painful they were. Reynolds was garbage. Basketball is a game of momentum and confidence, therefore it would be tough to back Nova right now given that this is also on the road. ND or no play for me.

MyAddidas, thanks for the info. Like I say, I know it isn't what it used to be...but I still hate taking that ranked road favorite....its more of a no-play for me now...sometimes I miss the old days. lol.
