(Par-Spain) Santa Cruz 1st goal(+650)
...A couple things stuck out to me in Paraguay's first match. (1)Their offense is one-dimensional. The announcer literally wore out the name "Roque Santa Cruz" in the first half. They kept trying to find him on the dump ins. He's tall and a dangerous scorer. He was close to tallying 2+ many times vs South Africa...(2) Paraguay tired badly in the 2nd half. But they looked very competitive in the 1st half. So maybe they can hang w/ Spain for a while(?).

Arg(-0.5) +108 vs England
...Doesn't this represent decent value? Argentines have to be considered legitimate Cup contenders after the first wave of gms. England has a few injury questions and made at least one lineup change from Gm1. Isn't Argentina in a little higher class than this young England team?

GL, guys. Any comments from the soccer vets are appreciated.

Spa-Par

I think over 40 on the cards is a good bet in this one.

I think you're right, man. Chilavert is launching some serious barbs.

That prop stuff is available at Oly and Intertops, I believe, if u decide to try it.

Do u think the probable physical play (b/c of anymosity) will take Santa Cruz out of his game?

I wouldn't be going too big on the argies as England always seem to up their game on these big occasions! Take the 5-1 hammering of germany in Munich, Argentina in France '98, germany in euro '96 semi spain in euro '96 quarter and also our performance in italia '90! No-one expected us to win these games and even tho they lost on penalties in two of them they were the better team on the night. Also England have a lot of pride and haven't forgotten the heartbreak France '98. This game is about revenge and England will up their game for this one. Not saying it wont happen but be weary.

Thx for the input, Galileo.

I will exercise caution on Argentina. The more I read, the more I see that this contest will be very fiery, based on past antagonism btw these clubs.

Par-Spa Yellows?

Par-Spa Yellows?

On a serious note, would anyone think 5+ yellow cards is the way to go in either of these contests?

Arg-Eng (+110)
Par-Spa (-105)

The media would seem to indicate that the blood will boil in these gms. Thoughts?
