tough night last night, time for a turnaround jumper

Knicks +5 (Melo out? Oh well - Dog is 11-4 L15)

Mavs +2 (Mavs b2b games vs Kings - Mavs 4-1 L5 vs Kings)

Heat -3 1/2 (Heat very eratic on the road, typically they come to play vs Blazers for some reason - Bench will be key to this game)

hmmm... I do think that Pacer's line is a bit inflated to reflect that Melo is out, and that they just beat the Heat at home. Good spot for the Knicks overall, and I think they have a good chance at the upset tonight.

Question your reasoning a little on the Heat game, as they have the second to worst bench in the league on the road. Of course, Portland's is "worse" at home, but they have been better as of late.

Battier is questionable tonight as well, and I just don't know who they have to stop Aldridge. He is the biggest factor for me tonight.

I do agree with you big about one thing - Stephen Jackson is still a moronic idiot!!

Well, anyway, good luck!

I'm counting on the Heat bench to have a good game, Hippo, I agree with your analysis of Portland, they just scare me when I bet on 'em or against 'em, they usually cover when Aldridge is out, LOL, but he isn't in this one.

One wouldah thunk Stephen Jackson would grow up with the Spurs, but he's his own worse enemy and he would be great trade bait for a solid swing man or 2 guard off the bench which the Spurs need.

GL to you too 2nite!!

add:

Over 195 Heat/Blazers

Info:

Heat 2nd game on a 6 game road trip, Aldridge upgraded to probable but still injuries can linger, especially playing a physical team like the Heat. Battier listed as a ? mark tonight, therefore Miller and company on the bench have to step it up some, so D Wade & LeBron-Bron may go off for 60 points between them, Bosh also should get good looks inside tonight. Last 3 games played at Portland, Heat ave MOV is 8.5 pts , not 18 ugh!

Dallas lost 4 games in a row on a 3 game trip out west vs Kings who got clobbered by 32 at home recently by Memphis, Kings at home still not very good, two bad teams I usually take the dog and Mavs gave a good effort vs Clipjoint last night, tonight they go for the win as emphasized by HC Carlyle. If they don't play well, watch for a chair throwing incident from Mavs owner Cuban!!

Knicks minus Felton, - Wallace, J Smith another question, Pacers won 9 straight at home, 13-3 home record, why is this line 5? Line should be much higher, Vegas needs to make money and knows the Knicks bettors put up heavy vig when they play nightly, they'll put especially big numbers out tonight knowing the trends with Knicks & Pacers - there is no Reggie Miller in this tilt and likely Melo will not play, haven't heard if he'd appeal the suspension yet so he could play, but just feel Knicks come to play on this evening.
