There was no coup d'etat. The incumbent nominee stepped down after having a bad debate performance.
since you clearly don't understand the meaning of "coup d'etat" (and, let's be frank, a LOT of other things), allow me to help.
we can debate if it was really sudden. it was hardly unexpected. anyway, it obviously wasn't violent (much to your disappointment, i'm sure). and no laws appear to have been broken.
and power was hardly seized from a government. perhaps you've forgotten (as you've forgotten so many things), but joe biden ENDORSED kamala harris. pretty bizarre coup.
perhaps the real reason you're upset is because joe biden had the courage to acknowledge maybe he really couldn't do the job for four more years and stepped aside, while your preferred candidate, clearly in severe mental decline, would never do the same.

Absolutely, Joe Biden older than fuck. Clearly unfit to lead and it’s shocking is still in office, but the Democratic way would’ve allowed the voters to make that decision.

But you and I agree 100%. Trump is too old for this job. He’s a terrible candidate. Had he not won the primary, DeSantis would be beating Kamala like a stepchild at the moment. But I’m glad the GOP believes in democracy and allowed a vote of the people to stand.
