Well, it goes like this....

Teasers work for me, last season and even better this season when I started to add Col. BBs teams to them. If you check out my posts in the NCAAF forum, the records are there and you'll see that using them there CBB plays as "Teaser Stuffers" really paid off. I also played reg. straight line bets with the Basketballers and never lost 3 CONSECUTIVE bets on them.

I went with two teams as straight line plays the other night. Both started at 7:00 p.m. Now if ya wanna consider the St. John's game was my first play.. I can keep the record (no 3 in a row losers). Let's make believe I did put that bet in first.

My other play was on... ER, ... Ummm.... ah. on .... .. . St. Joseph's :00x31 which was the worst hammering I took this year in any sport. :chairshot

Tonight's Game
N. Iowa -5 1/2 - only downside to this play IMO is it looks too much like a no-brainer. Still, my numbers are good enough to support this pick.

Soo.... I'm gonna put some time into the basketbawlers for Sat now and see if I can get the record at 50% wins or better. Hopefully, I'll have time to ADD whatever I come up with to this thread instead of opening a new one.

Spent a long time racking my brain on Fri. on two games and wasted my time trying to find something worthwhile. Came up with 3 for today (Sat.) that I think have a good shot at covering a reg. line bet.

I should mention that I go over my selected games for a long time and cap. each of them to cover a straight line bet.... THEN, for most of the ones I come up with; thems go into teasers and I usually clean up as in --> :0071

Lines are exactly what I got here at this time.

Villanova -14

Penn St. -10 1/2 - this one is a perfect "Teaser Stuffer" with a couple of footsballers added to it.

UCLA +6 1/2 - line on this this one is moving MY WAY:0034

Let's consider this next one an "Honorable Mention" )) I don't have much confidence on this one but my nos. rate it as a play. I'm not gonna include this in my record here and prob. not play it cause them Quackers are vulnerable against 3 pointers and that is Michigan's strong suit. Also, don't see one away game for them; how the hell did they get away from BEING AWAY is beyond me? :mj03:

Just got home to see how I did and still see plays are pending. Looks good for yesterday; my confidence with Wichita paid off and I did catch that late Sun Devils game (didn't even get to watch it). I always have the MJ tab on top of the browser available when I start the dang laptop and checked to see if anybody was around and thought I'd hit it before checking out what the NFLers are up to.

Easier to do the cut n paste thingy from my 5Dimes report than type them...

I sure do appreciate your sharp observation, boilermaker and especially letting me know you visited my thread. Sorry to write that I missed 4 chances to catch that middle. I'm not as quick thinking as I used to be and missed the good point you made here. I think it shows by how unorganized I am with the way I post stuff. SURE GLAD that ain't happening when it comes to doing the number crunching and logic I use when handicapping the games. Last year was the best CFB season I've had in a long, long time and this year I'm well past that point already. Teasers really agree with me and the LUCK I'm having with the basketballers is icing on the cake.

Funny thing -last week I had whoever it was to cover vs.the Jets and I played the Jets to win the second half at halftime and at great odds. Sure enough, Jets won the 2nd half, late in the game too, and "whoever" covered by 1 pt. JUST LUVED IT!

Sheesh, RIGHT NOW it looks like it even ends up UNDER 37.
