1)Pitt/Carolina under 6,-120
Carolina would love to win this game to avoid the powerhouse Devils in the first round and therefore will be playing it like a playoff game............grind it out, defensive style. Mario is not playing today for the Pens so they will rely on the dump and chase game and basically will be trying to just get through the game injury free.
2)Tampa Bay/Washington Under 6,-110
This game means nothing to either team so the intensity will be low and the Caps will likely rest some key players. I look for a 2-1 style of game as both teams will just be going through the motions.
3)Buffalo/Philly Over 4.5,-120
Now, this game means something to both teams. These two will meet each other in the first round with today's winner holding home ice advantage. HERE IS THE KICKER......If they are tied 2-2 in overtime, the Flyers will pull their goalie as the tie game is worth jack squat to them....they must win outright.
