- Numerous guest actors and actresses appeared in multiple roles. Jeffrey Tambor was the leader with three. He also appeared as a different character in the cast of The Ropers (1979).

- In the episode ?The Charming Stranger,? (20 December 1983) actor John Ritter?s testicles were briefly visible.

- Richard Kline's role as Larry Dallas was originally meant to be a one-time guest appearance.

- Janet and Chrissy had another roommate named Eleanor before Jack moved in.

- In the opening credits cameo (Season 1), we see a beautiful woman walk past Tripper as he is on his bike. Seeing her, he loses balance and falls off. This woman was Suzanne Somers herself, donning a black wig.

A show totally about sexual harassment, and how women needed to shut up and laugh it off.

Priscilla Barnes did not enjoy her time on the show. I saw an interview with her she did a couple years ago where she stated pretty much all the producers were male chauvinists. She said almost every week on set she had to deal with that shit. She loved the cast, but hated all those behind the camera, it was a different time back then I guess.

Oh and she said John Ritter banged pretty much every guest star, and he was probably the nicest guy in all of Hollywood at the time, nobody had a bad word to say about him.
