Hamels is a solid pitcher but Lowe has been better of late and has a great post season record. Phillies rely to much on the long ball and I believe that will be hard to do against Lowe's sinke!

I agree, ballpark plays into Lowe's hands. Dodgers have been on fire at the plate. They should take advantage of a pitcher who is obviously not too comfortable pitching at home. GL man!

Not sure what to make of this statement. Cole pitches great at home. 2.99 era & 1.07 whip. 1 start in the playoffs at home, 8 innings pitched, 2 hits, 1 walk, 9 k's, how is he not comfortable?


I think tomorrow is a coin toss. Both teams are throwing solid starters, great bullpens. dodgers are hitting better but the phils have a better offense. I'm a phils fan but don't bet with my heart. I like the dodgers in game 2 with billingsly and the phils in games 3/4 with moyer and blanton over kuroda and kershaw or maddux.

good luck, i can't find any value in game 1.

if i can toss a coin a 1000 times and get +130 i'll do it but this is an isolated incident. i don't consider the game exactly 50-50. pretty close to it and that's not enough for me to take either team. hamels will throw a good game tonight at home and i assume lowe will be sharp as well.

THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT I'M SAYIN. GETTIN +130 ON A TEAM THAT IS THROWING A BETTER PITCHER AND HAS A BETTER OFFENSE AND IS THE HOTTEST TEAM IN BASEBALL OVER THE LAST COUPLE OF MONTHS. MY ONLY CONCERN IS THE LAYOFF THEY JUST HAD. ALMOST WOULD HAVE RATHER THEM KEPT PLAYING STRAIGHT THRU.
