---any OPS or runs scored comments will be a day outdated (espn)
---I'm going to fade the Rox until they show a glimmer, even vs Jimenez--he's been shit in 4 of last 5 anywho, though he's 2-0 vs with a 1.61 era (in 4, no '10); Maholm poor vs in 6 (1-4/5.20), especially at Coors, but he's been pretty good on the road and is capable of tossing the odd gem...he can also go deep which might prevent a bullpen collapse as Ohlendorf was out quick after Tulowitzki lined one of his noggin' (he's apparently okay); Rox OPS last 7 days a measly .652, scoring barely over 2 per game, while pit was .712 scoring almost 5 per--a couple days ago this number for pit was way higher while Rox recent has lasted a while; just can't resist the price...gotta be the biggest + I've played this season; ump either Porter or Calrson who are both look pretty even; caveat: Rox are 31-18 at home including 11-6 vs L while pit is 7-28 on the road to R
---I've made with Bumgarner his last 3 so gonna try again...hit explosion by the G-men yesterday is encouraging...his 1st vs and last before his 21st birthday on Sunday; Sanchez was good in his only vs May 4th at home but he's not great on the road, particularly his last 5...a key might be his short outtings, what with the mediocre pen behind him; caveat: flor OPS .710 vs R and .755 vs L, and also 18-12 vs L (8-7 road)...also, wind should continue to blow out to center/left-center and the Fish clubbed 3 HR yesterday, all by righties to left or left center...on top of that, Sanchez has only allowed 5 in 115 IP while Bumgarner has allowed 5 in 40; ump Barksdale is even
---both Latos and Padilla are throwing great, lately, but Padilla is a bit of a head-case who seems due for a bad outting (just a hunch, obviously)...his road numbers are only so-so; lad OPS an MLB-worse .508 the past week, scoring under 2 runs/game (this counts the 6 games before yesterday, where they tallied the big uno); SD only .659 over that period (typical), but averaging over 4/game; dodgers have been grim and I've always thought that Torre was overrated as a manager, though the hitting coach obviously is overpaid; Pads 31-20 at home while lad is 22-26 on the road; caveat: while SD is 20-16 in the division, dodgers are 25-9, not to mention (again) Padilla being very good lately and great in his only start at Petco (who isn't great there?...wasn't '010) while Latos was bad in his only vs (also not '010); ump O'Nora leans under

this is overkill, today

Need a break to see if "The Game" (Michael Douglas/David Fincher flic) is worth watching.

Movie is alright, so far.
Better than the overrated (IMO) Three Days of the Condor that I saw earlier. Coulda sworn I'd seen it, way back, but nothing was familiar. Seen the other two in Sydney Pollack's conspiracy trilogy--All the Presiden'ts Men and The Parallax View.

---Saunders was good vs in 1, at Citizen's Bank in '08, and he may have the same kind of success that many pitcher's do going from AL to NL...he may also be able to survive a while which would be key with a putrid 'zona bullpen...erratic lately, he's been pretty good on the road and great in his last, at Texas, which is saying something as he had been killed by the Rangers there prior to that one; joining Utley on the missing in action is Victorino who went on the DL and likely Rollins who's missed the last 2 with a wonky foot...didn't seem to hurt them Wednesday and top prospect Dominic Brown looked great in his debut yesterday; Kendrick's been shit vs in 3 including one at home and 1 '010 meeting at Chase...he looked good in his last vs Colorado but everyone looks good vs Colorado lately; Phillies 28-11 at home to R but only 5-7 at home to L; caveat: 'zona 10-27 on the road to R and 7-day OPS at .725 while scoring around 3 per game while Phillies OPS was .838 while scoring over 5 per; ump Everitt is even
---I think the tigers overachieved yesterday and Price has been great vs them in 1+2relief as well as at home; Porcello's 1st at the Trop and he's been brutal on the road (1-4/7.55/.348) and mostly crap lately...not even 22 until late December so maybe this former 1st-rounder will be good eventually; caveat: tigers prefer lefties:rolleyes: (best I can come up wth); not sure about ump Hickox--don't think he's a big factor, either way, and don't care
---current series in Arlington is totally playing under so I'm finally jumping on board...was leaning that way, anywho, but under-ump Eddings and continued winds blowing in (sorta way right towards third base expected) has me sold; Eddings is actually following C.B.Bucknor, from yesterday (don't recall them being on the same crew, or at least following on another), so we're going from a rather small strike zone (didn't matter Wed) to a rather large one, which might somewhat baffle the hitters; Wilson was great at home vs May 13th--his only start vs--and he has been very good at home and lately...word is that Cliff Lee has been a great benefit to him since coming over, though he was looking good this season anyway; Mazzaro was crap in his only vs, at home back on May 4th (his 1st '010 start), but he's been quite good lately and both clubs have good bullpens; caveat: other than the Rangers ferocious offense and the extreme hitter's park, I can only add that my AL unders are 2-7-1 this month, dropping 6.29, and I should have gone 0-2 yesterday instead of 1-1...had the Progressive under and yanks scored 8 through 4...not a tally by either after that...I was app.even on AL unders earlier
---ump Layne--U.S. Cellular--has a small zone despite looking under the past few seasons; not a believer in Pauley and a poor m's pen will be called on; Garcia not at his best the past few season, as well; semi-liked it on first look and yesterday's high numbers (my other under...oops) were encouraging enough to take a whirl; neither club smokin', lately, but the Hose have looked good at the plate since returning home and maybe the m's had their eyes tested before Wednesday's game; I'm the big undefeated (2-0-2...for what it's not worth) on AL overs this month

Their first disc, from 1972.
Totally trippy.
Klaus was still learning English.
