I really like playing quarters and halves. I know they are not for everybody, but I figured I would start posting my picks since I have done fairly well with them so far this year. I always pay attn to the 2nd 1/2 lines as well when I am watching a game, and that's certainly easy on a night like tonight when there is only one game on.

Like Colo St/ AF OVER 14.5 for the 4th qtr.

In Colo. St's 3 games this year they have combined with their opponent for 28 (Nevada), 28 (Minny), and 28 (Colorado) in the 4th qtr. Meanwhile, Air Force has combined with their opponent for 14 (Utah), 27 (Wyoming), 27 (SD St.), and 21 (Washington).

In what likely will be a close game, there should be some decent 4th 1/4 scoring. Obviously, I would rather it be 14, but the hook doesn't bother me at all in this case.

Any comments are always welcome...

i think it could happen. air force's bullpen is bound to give up a lot of runs. and the rams dont have a reliable closer either. ;)

in all seriousness though, i noticed the same thing you did about afa's propensity to play some high-scoring fourth quarters. gotta think opposing defense are worn down a bit after facing the option for 3 whole quarters prior to the final 15 minutes.
