i hate this play, but i hate kevin anderson even more. I lost 3k on him beating isner in the final last year of some 250 event, and if i ever found him and a stepladder i'd pummel this pudwacker in the face.

this is his year to make a splash or be a top 20 or 30 forever. in his glory years, his game is coming around and most asuredly will being the highest ranking american at years end. the only american with a hope of sniffing a major semi this year, but even that would take a draw with some injuries. he is more talented than the stupid german who will never win anything except asswipe of the year last year. see olympics.

my personal biggest play of the year so far. monfils is brilliant in spurts and super inconsistent in others. ferrer is the chain smoking model of consistency and talent. monfils owns the h2h 3-0, but i'm not ready to back monfils coming off missing a year due to injury. they have played 3 best of 5's before and they went 4, 5, and 5 sets. monfils should have enough in the tank to keep it super close and maybe steal a set.
