San Diego has got to turn things around a little; they just have to. Bruce Bochy's squad has been beyond abysmal for a while now but they are still too talented to play like they have been and they are still the far better club then the Pirates.
Mark Redman is not a bad lefty and started out the season on fire but he still should not be at this price against Brian Lawrence and the Pads. San Diego is the team with more weapons. Chris Duffy and the Bucos do have some kids that are playing well but they do not stack up to Brian Giles, Ryan Klesko and the rest of the Pads. Plus we have a solid bullpen in Akinori Otsuka, Paul Quantrill and closer extraordinaire Trevor Hoffman.
I will take the Padres at this price any day of the week even if they have lost almost every single game for the past six weeks. They are the better team and will start winning a few games.
