1 for now-------give me Duke laying the 9=---they are the best team in the Country and at home, have a huge advantage here. Maryland's biggest match-up problem tonight will be Blake fromMaryland-----he will have his hands full with J. Will and Duhjon, Jones.---he runs this offense and will be tested. I belive he is a solid point-guard but against Duke's personell--he will not be as effective. Maryland does have a size advantage, but this game will come down to 3's---Baxter,and company may get lost in this one. I expect Williams, Boozer, and especially Dunleavy to have big games. DUke--better talent, at home,COach K---Cameron will be rocking-- i'll take my chances on the best team to play to the level they are capable of. They are rested and ready--believe it. The only reason that this line is as high as the linemakers have it is because Maryland has beaten Duke in Cameron the past two years!! They are playing with the motivation tool which does work sometimes, but will not work with the Dookies tonight. Yes, Duke has a few shooters on their team which in a run and gun game like this one will probably help out with their deficiencies inside. I see Maryland holding a lead at halftime with Duke making a late push at the end hitting a few 3's and winning, but not covering the 9'. Maryland, overall, is a better club depthwise and with Dixon and Baxter having HUGE games tonight, look for Boozer and Jason Williams to get into early foul trouble, which will lead Maryland to an early double digit lead. Duke will come back late and steal the game, but not the $$$$$!!!

Interesting point of view---comments always welcome.

I honestly believe that talent-wise---Duke has better players----in big games, many guys need to step up---good teams have 1 or 2 guys that can carry the load------great teams(like duke)----have 3 or 4 guys that can lead the team in scoring. this makes them dangerous, because if someone is off--the slack will be picked up. everyone will see tonight Jay Will--best player in College Basketball. Your going with the Dukies i agree blake is not going to be able to keep up with all 3 of the guys you mentioned, and Dixon has to have a huge gm or this might get ugly, because those dukies can shoot the three at home!!!!!!!

Guys,
I don't know how this game is gonna go (I tend to think Maryland will cover because Duke is too reliant on the 3 and has zero inside game and presence outside of the occasional dumpdown to Boozer) but to say Duke has a huge advantage of Williams over Blake is incorrect.
While I think Williams is a superior player to Blake, Williams has traditionally had some of his poorest games of the season with Blake covering him one on one (don't ask me to explain it, Blake is no great defender). The two are friends and even Blake said last year he has no idea how he plays such good defense on Williams but history has pointed to that happening over the course of their last 4 meetings or so.
