Thursday College Hoops In-Games

Hello all.....i know we dont see too many In-Games in this forum, but I am home tonight, theres some great action on TV, so if anyone wants to shoot the breeze about the college games tonight---or really whatever sports are on--I offer this thread.

As far as action, I got Lousville and Vandy.

And, I have those games on side by side TVs.....not sure what I am gonna put on the third set.....maybe George Mason-Hofstra to see GM, whi I haven't seen play since their tourney in Orlando back in November, or maybe Prov-Uconn.

Marquette comes out in Charger Blue retro jerseys......Cards, though, exerting their will early. Good team basketball with four assists on all four of their hoops....up 11-4.

Meanwhile, not as much offense in Tenn-Vandy as expected. The O/U was 166, but they're nowhere near that pace early. First time in over 40 years both teams have been ranked coming into the game.

Just flipped the Uconn game on.....they're on 140 point pace here in the early going..15-13 PC.....what was the total?

I've been getting killed taking road dogs in Big East conference play so far.....i think I've lost six in row in that situation......most of the time they were blowouts and I never had a chance.

Good luck tonight.....on the other side, but at least I'll know someone who won if I dont.

120-pt pace in the Uconn game.

Marquette went through a stretch where they were 1-15 on field goals. Down 10.

Tennessee has ballooned a 7-point lead all of a sudden. Timeout vandy.

Vandy might get blown out here if they cant get something going the last 5 minutes of the half....they've turned it over 10 times and have not made a three point shot.

They buried themselves early in Lexington on Saturday and came back, but the Vols are obviously better than the Cats.

Vandy down 13 at half. They score more than 9 treys a game.....they have none in this game so far.....if they can somehow get close to their season average during the second half maybe they can climb back into the game and give my bet a chance. The stars, Lofton and Ogilvy, have 0 and 2 points respectively in this game.....interesting.

Marquette seemed to get their legs. Could have been run out of the gym, but only down 8 at half. It seems like every time I look over at the game, someone is missing a shot.

Uconn-Prov will be a battle.....loser drops below .500 after five games in league play.....both teams playing with urgency which is fun to see......132-point pace in that one.

Eric Gordon already has two fouls.....Minny very aggressive on the O-glass.

The Barn is buzzing right now, Gophers up 8-5.

This is a game that I will be really impressed by the winner.

It would be a big road win for Indy and really give them a leg up for the top spot in the league.

For Minny, it would be equally huge. They dont have the chops to win the league--i think--but a win here puts them on the radar and in position to earn an NCAA invite....obviously a lot of season left, but a win here and you could make the case that a bid is theirs to lose at that point.

Should be fun.

With Gordon on the bench in foul trouble, Indiana needs to win this game through DJ White.....but they cant get him the ball.....seven turnovers already.....Sampson going with moe experience now subbing in Stemler and Ratliff.
