Season to Date 7-2-1 + 8.8 units
Yesterday 5-2-1 + 4.8 units

Short card, not too hard to be selective.......

NO/ ORL OVER 182.5 2 units...I love the fact that this game has been bet down 6.5 points already and in some places 7. This is a gross over-reaction to last nights games where both teams played overtime games that still went under. People will say the teams are tired and they might not have the legs for the jumper....BUT, the same can be said about defensively these teams will be tired allowing for easier transition and open up looks in the paint as the defenses wont be as sharp to rotate. I know some will say that teams don't tire early in the season, but I'll take my chances of a higher scoring game than yesterdays. Excluding the overtime period, both teams still had higher scoring 2hs than 1hs. Now with each team with a game under their belt, I think we will see the offenses a little smoother and hopefully get their transition game going as both teams like to push the ball when they are in their groove. Numbers might not mean as much cause different personel and playoff atmospheres, but neither of the last 6 times these teams have played have gone under this number.

Houston - 5 1h 1 unit. Denver will be coming off a great performance to beat the defending champs in their opener. Letdown, probably. Don't believe the hype on Denver, although improved this is far from a competitor at west. Carmelo looked ok, but was only 4-15 shooting. Now coming from the mile high atmosphere they travel as a team to a hostile environment for the 1st time. Houston should come out strong and want to establish itself as at least a contender for one of the last playoff spots. Stevie Franchise should be able to create opportunities, and Yao should get some open looks early. I'm not a huge fan of playing a team with no games against a team with a game already played, but I think Houston should come out strong. Cold shooting early is the only thing that could hamper this play I think.

Might play the late game, but want to see how the line moves, too early to decide now.

Good Luck to All

Adding the late game......

Cleveland +5.5 1h 1 unit. Cleveland kids are confident after last night regardless of the outcme. They played one of the top teams in the league and hung tough. Battled back from 18 down to get it within 5 late in the 4th. I think this confidence will carry over to the early stages of this game. Cleveland might not be a playoff contender, but the pressure should be off James early after the performance last night. I think they will come out loose and hang with a phoneix team still trying to cope with the disaster of opening night.

Good Luck to All

will be interesting to see how cleveland performs in b2b situations this year. for the last few years under wittman/lucas/smart, they were brutal on the 2nd night. obviously, its only week 1 so there wont be much fatigue. would sure like to see the cavs have a good effort on the 2nd nights of b2b. would be a good sign for the rest of the season. cavs a totally different team this year, and super young overall. theyre capable of hanging. we'll see if they get it done for ya
