LA
loss last night should hit em hard, better ptcher and a better team tonight
Los Angeles has won each of the five games Alvarez has appeared in this month, with the southpaw allowing eight earned runs over 25 2-3 innings during that stretch
DODGERS PROBABLE STARTER: Alvarez (5-3, 3.40 ERA). Alvarez is 2-0 with a 2.45 ERA in six career appearances, including three starts, against the Rockies. On the road this year, Alvarez is 2-2 with a 4.42 ERA in 12 appearances, including four starts.
ROCKIES PROBABLE STARTER: Jamey Wright (1-0, 1.80 ERA). Wright is 2-7 with a 4.26 ERA in 12 career appearances, including 11 starts, against the Dodgers.
Los Angeles hadn't lost two straight since a six-game skid from June 21-26.
TOTAL OVER 9.5 ARZ-HOU
DIAMONDBACKS PROBABLE STARTER: Lance Cormier (0-2, 14.73 ERA). He has lost each of his first two outings, including an 8-2 defeat to Colorado on Saturday in which he surrendered five runs and seven hits over six innings, striking out two and walking four. June 19 against Tampa Bay, yielding seven runs over 1 1-3 innings in an 11-4 loss to the Devil Rays.
ASTROS PROBABLE STARTER: Redding (4-6, 5.66 ERA). Redding is 0-3 with a 5.57 ERA in four career starts against the Diamondbacks. At Minute Maid Park this year, he is 2-3 with a 6.17 ERA in 10 appearances, including eight starts.
Essentially......basically.....formatatively...both these pitchers absolutely suck , if the offense decides to show up, this total should hit over 9.5 easy, if the offense wants to sit at home and wait until it gets :142hump: sayonara
cheers and best of luck on your plays
