Temple -11 -110, 1 unit
I know the line is high for a Temple game but Villanova is very thin for this game. They lost two of their best players in Buchanan and Wright to graduation, their PG Snowden and their outstanding big man Fraser are injured, and most of their frontcourt is suspended including Bloch, Austin, Sumpter, and Charles. Their only returning lettermen available are Ray, Foye, Claxton, and Grace who are all guards and Claxton and Grace won't provide much help as they avg. just .1 and .2 ppg last season. They will be dressing just two players over 6-3 and it looks like the freshman guard Dunleavy will be starting at power forward. Nova's strength last year was rebounding and that will obviously be a problem in this game. Turnovers were a major weakness for the Cats and not having Snowden may really hurt against the Temple zone. Ray and Foye have some talent but they are just sophomores and I'm not real confident in their ball handling ability. Nova's lack of height and experience inside may also make it difficult to score against the zone. Like the Owls' defense to dominate this game and looking for an easy win.
