Oakland +2.5 over Fairfield **
Oak is 0-2 on the road and Fair is 0-2 at home...so something has to give...both teams lost most of their scoring from last yr..Stags are missing Nelson big time..he scored,handled the ball and had been a starter for 4 years..Oaks lost 4 of their top scorers...but they had a redshirt kid Mais who sat and watched all last year...they knew he could score but no one expected after 9 games he is 6th in the nation in scoring..maybe his HS coach..and his family...He is 6'7 and avgs 6 bds too...has 7 blocked shots..Oak has a pair of 5'11 pt gds 2 and 6'8 and 6'9 fds that avg around 6-7 pts a game..What they do best is share the ball...they have 4 starters with 11,33,38,and 27 assists...but they haven't been winning losing to XU,NIU,JMU,W Mich and UNLV...they did beat ORU and another D-3 team...but that is pretty good comp...meanwhile the Stags lost to Longwood,LIU-Brook,Seattle and 33 to Purdue..they beat Bucknell and Denver by 1...
Stags have a terrible coach who can't recruit in the United States...his whole team is from Catano,San Juan,Knishea,Sweden,Cairo ad Belgrade..they can hit the 3 like most foreign players but can't rebound or play defense... Stags are worried that if Trumps stays in power and his foreign policy is enforced he might have to go into New haven or Hartford and recruit some locals.. but Stags have 3 guys back and Kasibabu is tough inside ...not a strong play because although they lost Nelsons 104 hit 3's they also lost Flavors 95 3's ..but they will hoist them up ..forgot to mention Oak can't defend the 3 ranking them in the 300's..pretty big clue to omit...small play..
Watched last nites Texas-VCU game...
VCU wins yet goes 6-25 from the 3, and 16-57 from the field...and still wins... Texas goes 4-17 from the 3 and 2 of those were in the last 2 minutes down by 1...Texas had 17 turnovers and I think VCU scored on all of them...VCU won the battle inside out rebounding Texas and getting 17 offensive bds.....In the final 35-45 seconds Texas has 2 opportunity's to win the game and shot two 3's and missed... ...you guys can't shoot 3's...what the hell are you doing.. Shaka were are you???? Lost to Radner and now VCU...and you would of lost to NC if Roy Williams knew what he was doing...Texas has a lot of talent but has no basketball IQ,,and Shaka who got the job because of his record at VCU should be worried ...VCU pressured Texas and took them out of there game..not complaining because I took the +10 with VCU...but leaned something new.. A few years ago I got see Evans from Rice,,he avg 19-20 pts for Rice... loved that kid..came in here and wrote about him...superstar...so last nite realized he transferred and sat out a year at VCU...then I see him vs Texas...I guess I lost him and thought maybe he graduated...he had 16 pts and had to sit out the last 10 minutes of the game...but never realized he played for VCU..IfI knew that I would of thrown 3 more ***'s lol
