Missed going to the Texas-Oklahoma game ..was actually on my way there when had to change my plans..did watch it last nite...Shacka needs to go... again they shot 8-29 from the 3..the Texas gds were 5-26 with Frebes going 2-9..last game he was 0-11..thats a combined 2-20.. Clolemen was 0-5 Jones 1-4 and Ramey 2-6...OU won 72-62 and Reaves there best player was off only scoring 10 pts going 0-5 from downtown..catching that "longhorn fever". But OU's freshmen Harmon...had 9 pts and 3 steals but is a player...am going to the Coastal-Texas St game tonite

Chants have one of the best pt gds in Jones avg almost 6 assits a game...they have 5 starters that all avg double figures and are 18th in the nation on offense..they can shoot 3's ..there problem is defense but Tx St offense relies on Pearson there only true scorer...Troy didn't give him much breathing room and that is why they won the other nite.. Pearson is forcing shots and frustrated ..Terry the Bobcats center is playing terrible avg 8 pts and only 3 bds...Tx stats might look good but they beat Prarie view and Bethane Cookman by 50 pts each... they did play Houston and Baylor tough...Tx plays great defense but something is missing on offense.. it hit me this morning.. Nottingham the 2 gd graduated and when Pearson penetrated he would kick out to Tre and he would bury a 3..they can't do that anymore and no one has replaced Tre..it took me about 5 or 6 games to realize that..a little slow the older I get..Think Coastal wins this game and if the coach just watched the Troy=Tx ST game the other nite Pearson will score but will force his shots..

Roadrunners again.. I know what many of you are saying...they lost on OT to FIU and lost to FAU...Jivan is now No 2 in the nation in scoring and his partner Wallace is avg 17 pts a game.. there weakness is defense and rebounding.. Bior,Germany,Frohen and Barisc need to all step up inside...they have started out slow in Conf USA but think as the conf games start Henson the coach will get his kids playing..Henson is a Lon Kruger disciple and an outstanding coach...La Tech is 11-3 and one of the best teams in the conf..they just beat So Miss twice in a row 78-60 and 80-49..they also have Bracey a 5'11 gd that can play and Ledoux another scorer..the last time these two teams played at La Tech they won 72-67..they killed the Roadrunners on the bds 38-22 and Bracey had 23 pts...Roadrunners shot 5-29 from the 3 {17th ] but that isn't happening in San Antonio tonite...Jivan will drive and score and you better not foul him.. he shoots 82% from the Ft line

gotta run back later with a few more..lost on Fairfield and Nevada yest...shot 2 big airballs yest ...not even hitting the rim..kinda like those Longhorns

Box, we did go to the game and looked for you, but realized you were"t coming after about 5 minutes. Agree with everything you said about the Horns. Guards jacked up so many 3's that didn't find the scoring column. Sims was able to score from close, but the guards didn't get him the ball. Too many turnovers and bad passes. We may not win more than 2 games from here on out, unless something changes. Still a fan, but also a realist. Lean with C.C., but scared of UTSA.

dog lover I watched the game last night on TV...unreal...longhorn radio said Shacka is 20-34 vs B-12 teams ...wow.. I know he wasn't doing good but never heard that stat..

had just left my house when my cousin called from NY.. pulled over on Enfield going the back way to Erwin...my uncle had passed away..they wanted me to be on a conference call when they told my aunt... so I turned around and went home.. then they confronted my aunt...I was on a speaker phone ...he was 98 and my aunt is 95...then my wife called and then my 2 daughters are calling...then my son...then my other daughter..unreal I was making arrangements to fly up but I just took my dog in this morning to remove a tumor the size of a softball.. the incision is about 5 inches long..no way I can just leave him here..so my wife who is in Philly will drive up to the wake with my other daughter....I explained it to my 2 cousins and they were fine with it... he was 98 yrs old... was at Normandy Beach in '44 picking up all the bodies in his truck and taking them to the cemetery.. He was a truck driver for the Red ball express taking fuel to the tanks at the battle of the bulge ..my father who served in Italy always claimed my Uncle had a purple heart because he got shot in the ass and they made him a truck driver...that wasn't true but he never denied it so we all thought it was true growing up...my cousins for years were looking for his purple heart...I do remember asking my Uncle Frank about the war... the trucks had no floor boards so you could see the rd as you drove.. I asked about heat and he laughed We froze our ass's off and feet ...when he turned 80 he was told to stop smoking ..he had 95% blockage in his carotid artery...that was 18 years ago and he smoked lucky Strip non filter...every day a pack...when he was hospitalized on Sunday they told my cousins he needed a hospice facility..he told his sons send me anywhere but I need to smoke... he died 2 days later never made it to hospice ...98 wow.. I told my cousins I would buy a ticket right now to live to 98...my aunt is 95 and has all of her mental abilities ..she claims the key to life is olive oil ..its in her tomato sauce and everything she cooks with...think tonite I'm going to buy some olive oil....
I will catch up at the next game Dog Lover..it wasn't a pretty site on TV

just got back from the vet...Mambo my cocker spaniel is doing ok...has one leg shaved like they do poodles..he is knocked out on medication ..but is drinking and eating a little..it will be about a 2 week rehab...cost of the operation is unreal...but we had to do it.. the tumor was the size of a softball ...
