Duke -22 over Appa St **
Dukies front line of fds and posts Banchero,Williams are to much for smaller Appa defenders. Then you have Moore and King at 6'5 and 6'4 Duke shoots fg% 48.. Thats almost 50%. Appa will slow it down tonight and try to play half court but Duke has to much depth and Appa kids will be under the Cameron crazies . Appa has trouble scoring avgs only 64 pts a game. But I think the control of the paint will be Appa's problem Watched Appa the past few years when they played Tex St. Delph and Forrest are solid . Well coached and think they will try to take some air out of the ball tonight. I don't have all my notes on the score cards since last year Tex St didn't print them out before the games. , But Appa sts does have the ugliest warm ups ever. Last yr they won the Sun Belt tourney and went dancing in the NCAA's I like Appa in the sun Belt but don't like them tonite in Cameron I think this is the Sun belt conf champions again ..Appa lost to Iona ,Charlotte and Furman .
ORU -7 over UTA ***
Abmas is the best player in the country that no one knows except teams in the Summit conf . He did lead the nation in scoring avg 24 pts a game and carried his team to the big Dance only to lose by 2 to Arkansas . UTA has Azore who can score but think Abmas and co win and cover tonight.
Stanford -16 over Dartmouth ****
Dartmouth avg SAT scores are a little higher then Stanfords but not sure if that will help them tonite. . But Cards have Ingram at 6'8 who singled handled Oregon the other nite. Plus Delaire and Jomes there top scorers are all 6'7 ,6'8 and 6'9 . Stanford has trouble scoring esp vs baylor but after seeing what baylor did to Nova maybe you can throw that game out. Greens top 4 or 5 scorers are all 6'5 and below. And Dartmouth is a bad rebounding team allowing opposing teams off rebounds . Dartmouth has lost to BU,Quinn,Fl Gulf,and BC by 3.3,10,18 and 16. Dart did beat G-town as there one legit win. Think with the win the other nite over Oregon it has awakened Stanford somewhat.
Rice -14.5 over Incarnate Word ***
If IW qb Ward plays basketball this bet is off. Rice covers at home regardless who they play. Incarnate has lost 6 or 7 in a row but they did beat Lady of the Lakes . So if you beat Lady of the Lakes you lose your next game . Lamar last nite was an example . Their last win was lady of the lakes and Tex St blew them out last night. I'm not even sure where Lady of the lakes is . Not sure if Ken Pom has that stat yet. You are 12-0 ats by taking the last team to beat the" Lady" just kidding
With my wife out in Florida am going to a D-2 game here in Austin tonight where I know the coach who recruited some of my players when he coached juco in upstate NY I got a email from him last night inviting me to the game. His team last year was 30-2 and they went to the nationals . The campus is about 5 miles from my house here ..
Babies are in the NICU but Becca is coming home tomorrow morning, Her 2 sisters are surprising her tomorrow morning. My wife asked me if I'm Ok " I'm fine hon take care of your daughter and 2 new grandkids . Its boring here without you .. thanks ez and the rest of you guys for the kind words
