North Texas -20.5 over So Miss **
Before you pass out with Mean Green being a 3 touchdown favorite NT is one of the best defensive teams in the country, They played at UAB who avgs almost 80 pts a game and beat them 58-57 the other nite. Perry git a 3 pt shot at the buzzer. NT is in 1st place in the conf and has just an average offense led by juco superstar Perry. So for Nt to be a fav by 22 So N Miss has to be bad. And they are . they have now lost 10 straight games and many by double digits . they rank in the 300's in about 4 or 5 categories on both sides of the ball. NT only avgs 66 pts a game and is the worst FT% team in the conf but they play that lock em up D,contest the shooters and try to get into transition to score. So miss can't shoot,rebound and turn it over The under might be the play here at 122.5 but I'm worried So Miss defense is so bad NT might score a lot. small play but my Mean Green I think take care of business at home tonight NT has balanced scoring in Bell, McBride and there big guy OUsmane But Perry has replaced last yrs Conf USA POY Hamell .
UAB -15 over UTSA ***
After avgs 80 pts a game and then losing at home to North Texas and scoring 57 points look out tonight. UTSA is terrible and after last yrs gd tandem that was best in the country they found no replacements. Top scorer in Germany a 6'11 skinny center with avg moves to the basket. They have now lost 6 of last 7. UAB is loaded Walker and Jackson are top players in the conf They score on their defense which is better then their high powered offense. Their defense attacks the ball,they get steals blocks etc Ex Miss coach Kennedy has made this team dangerous and think they get a blowout in San Antonio tonight Roadrunner D will have trouble stopping the Blazers and after there North Texas game think they come out smoking.
La Tech -5 over Rice ****
La is 19-7 and 10-4 in conf
They are coming off a big win vs UTSA 95-71 There d is solid and Rice will have trouble with stopping them inside. They get the ball inside and shoot an amazing 54% FG. Rice gives up almost 74 points on defense and think La Tech wins this by double digits .

Because that was the worst team I ever saw when they played Tx St and speaking of Tex St they won and covered and won there Sun belt conf title

last night I think I swept the 4 or 5 Sun Conf games ..
