Yesterday: 0-1 Niagara finally won in OT but couldn't cover. That one point was the difference between breaking even for the night and being up a dime.
YTD: 11-6
Marist +5.5
Marist has disappointed me so far but I have faith the Red Foxes will improve as the season progresses as they will take some time to integrate new personnel. Marist is 0-4: losing close games to Hofstra and Coastal Carolina before getting blown out by Eastern Michigan. They then had the misfortune to play at Central Michigan in their first game after the death of their player. Marist outrebounded CMU 40-30 including 21-4 on the O boards but Central Michigan shot a lights out 55% to win by four. Three of their four loses have been by less than five.
Siena has three wins over lesser teams (Albany, Fordham and Duquense) and is coming off a bad loss at home to Monmouth.
I like Saints players Antoine Jordan and Michael Haddix but I think the team isn't quite as good as their 3-1 record suggests.
The McCann Center is a tough place to play and Siena has traditionally has historically been a tough place to play for the Saints.
Marist is desperate for a win; both teams are well-coached and I look for a very close game decided by less than five.
