Disclosure first, I own 100 shares of this stock, (cautious strategy in current market)

It is on the move up today.

sounds like a good sector to me!

Yeah, I bailed at 7.60 yesterday and it touched 8 this morning...
Its too pricey for me at this level, I just don't see much more upside in it right now...so that means it will run all the way to 10 in the next couple of days..:shrug:
Rumors going around that F will get some $$ to avoid bankruptcy; under 3 right now--maybe jump in small with 1000 shares and ride it today??

it looks like they're gonna get the money but F doesn't need it right now, GM does.
i still have LEA in my sights too but i'm kinda thinking it made it's run with knowing the auto makers would get the bail out.

At 2200 shares that's a nice mid morning profit. My account is set up, just trying to get a better feel for this before I dive in. Bought the wedding band this week... I'd like to start padding the wedding fund with a quick strike...

if you decide to average down, I'd wait until later in the day Friday or even Monday--I stayed out today as I think the market dives tomorrow after the employment numbers come out. The decline this afternoon is just the beginning...:scared
Will be keeping an eye on C as well as starting to take a look at the airlines--oil is dropping like a rock and while the recession will limit air travel, the carriers are reducing capacity and the savings they will see with cheaper fuel should mean some decent revenue and hopefully, a nice bounce in their stock prices...

WOW! that was one hellava ride the last 30 minutes. like watching the last minute of a hoops game with a big bet riding.
managed to buy LEA at 1.85 so have 2000 shares at 2.00 ave and am actually up. i had a buy in at 1.45 for F but it only went to to 1.50, i think, and then shot right back up to 1.80 and then sold off to close around 1.65. i have 2000 F. see what happens tomorrow.
i think the market got negative about an auto bail out not happening but i'm fairly certain they will get it but what do i know :shrug:

Jack, the auto talks begin soon, anything positive said should shoot it back up a dime to a quarter I think, what is your target sell may I ask?

i wish i would have sold at today's high for about a break even. i guess i'll watch and make a decision if it gets close again. this market sucks today. i hope you're right.
